Cliff's Edge Cottage/retreat is a unique property perched on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the beautiful Megalong Valley, set in a truly unspoilt natural environment. The property has been designed specifically to maximise stunning views out of every window. The house features extensive timber work with an open plan design which will truly give you the feeling of being part of the environment. Perhaps you feel like taking a gentle stroll over fern covered streams, or tackling the 700 stairs canyon into the Megalong Valley below, both a possible with bush walks literally at the front door. Or maybe relaxing in the outdoor hot tub with a glass of champagne as the sun goes down is more your style. (With restaurants, cafes, cinemas, shops, and the golf course only minutes away)

Features

Cliff's Edge offers a truly wilderness experience with (four bedrooms). The main suite offers a king-size bed, glass surrounded corner spa with stunning views into the valley, private balcony, sitting room, ensuite, kitchenette and walk-in robe. Suite 2: double bed ensuite with walk-in robe and private balcony, along with another double room and a room with double bunks for the kids. There are provisions for a another two people with a sofa lounge. Other features include (6 person) outdoor hot tub, large lounge rooms, polished floorboards and wood fire, ducted heating, smaller sitting rooms for socialising, with large verandas front and back to enjoying the truly tranquil natural environment.

Environment

Whilst staying at Cliff's Edge be sure to keep your eye out for the many and varied types of wildlife including the red tail black cockatoo, akidna and wallabies. The house has been positioned weather permitting to take in the sunsets of an afternoon over the valley, and when the sun sets and the stars come out there is a telescope provided to enhance your stay at Cliffs Edge cottage/retreat.
