The local beaches are patrolled by surf life savers and the river is perfectly safe for kids to swim. For rainy days, Macksville, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour are just a drive away. Coffs features the Big Banana fun park with waterslides, iceskating and other great activities. Port Macquarie features shopping, movie theatres etc., and Macksville is a great shopping village with a heated pool for Kids. Matilda star is a perfect getaway for any Family.
