Description

"Berramview" offers a luxury town house apartment with a touch of class. All within walking distance to Merimbula's Shopping Centre. This bushy retreat provides relief from the hectic holiday rumpus yet still enables you to be part of the holiday activities.

Upstairs provides an open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities. Australian hardwood is a unique natural feature. Morning and evening balconies provide a relaxing place to have breakfast in the morning sun, read a book, newspaper or privately sunbath.
The bird life is active (your on the same level) and many a pleasurable moment is spent feeding the wildlife. Reverse-cycle airconditioning assists with those extra hot days when you just want to blob.

Downstairs has master bedroom with T.V reception and DVD, (for that quiet retreat from the household). Second bedroom has the option to suite your family needs - 2 single beds, bunk and single bed (3 singles) or double bed (2 adults). At the end of a hot summers day relax in a spa bath and feel the tensions and stress buddle away! Dinner at the Club, maybe, or a B.B.Q on the balcony? The choice is yours.

Why They Flock?

Merimbula offers an abundant array of holiday activities. The beaches, lakes and estuaries where the family can surf, fish, swim, canoe, sunbath or meander along the waters shoreline. Bush walks and scenic drives. Golfing, horseriding and historic venues. Restaurants and Clubs to dine and dance the night away. Fancy an adverture Whale Watching! And Ladies, let's not forget the stores. Loads of fashionable shopping.

It's all here - so come, stay and please enjoy!

Guest Reviews

  • "Berramview was a absolutely amazing place to spend our holiday. We both were very pleased. The wildlife were very friendly. It was like a home away from home. We will be returning soon we hope! Thank you Wendy."

  • "This place was loverly. Well equiped, a short distance from town and nicely stocked with a bit of coffee and sugar to start your stay. We were entertained by the wildlife and the owner was gracious and accommodating. Reasonably priced. A definite for us again in Summer!"

  • "We stayed at Berramview for nine nights with our young daughters, one of whom is still a baby. We were a bit concerned about the safety for the baby who is just crawling, it being a two storey residence, but needn't have worried - a stair gate was provided along with everything else required for a baby! The house is lovely - don't be deceived, it is a full house, not a unit, with lots of living space upstairs, great balconies all round and lovely terraced gardens. It backs on to a bushy reserve and that is where the parrots and the possums come from, and they do come, every day! The house has everything you could need to cook with, bath with and sleep really comfortably. We loved everything and had a fantastic time in Merimbula (and great weather). Would highly recommed Berramview for couples or small families."

  • "Nice place to see the fireworks on NYE from the balcony with a few drinks. Great view. Place was well furnished and clean (just wish there were more than 2 rolls of toilet paper and more than 2 garbage bags for an 8 night stay and washing powder is not provided so BYO). Very quiet neighbours. Quick drive to beaches and town centre. Kids loved the nightly visit from the possum and they were well fed with mangoes and apples. Parrots visited around 5 pm every day. Just around the corner from Magic mountain and you should plan to spend the day there if you go to get your moneys worth as its expensive ($110 for family to get in even if the adults dont go on the rides. Took the kids trail riding with staples riding school which they loved and they were great with the kids. All in all thanks for letting us stay at your place and we enjoyed our time there. Would recommend to friends as we had friends visit us and they were impressed with Berramview as they had paid more than us but it was no where as nice where they were staying. Thanks Wendy."

  • "Berramaview is a lovely property, well presented and very well equipped. It's in a reasonably quiet part of town and only a very short drive to the shopping area. The lorikeets made their visits twice daily, one being adventurous enough to sit on our hands to feed. Several other bird varities were also observed but most were run off by the lorikeets who seem to deem it "their" proprty. There was a nightly visit by a somewhat noisy possum. We had a really relaxing holiday, only occasionally venturing away from the cottage. "

  • "A great spot to relax and unwind. Plenty of room for us and our kids and just minutes from town and the beaches. We really enjoyed having the company of the lorikeets!"

  • "Cottage was perfect for us. The kitchen is well appointed, it is within a short walk to town, has clothes washing & drying facilities and is a spacious two bedroom home. We loved the birds that came to feed on the outside patio, especially the lorikeets and cockatoos. The owner is very accomodating and easy to work with. We would stay here again!"
