Nickle Doo is a newly renovated 2 bedroom weatherboard cottage with an expansive secure deck. The property is immediately adjacent to the Tasman National Park and State Coastal Reserve. Enjoy the native flora and fauna whilst relaxing on the deck, or take a short stroll on your private track to the pristine sands of Pirates Bay beach.
The property features a fully equipped new kitchen with an open plan living/dining area. A queen size bed in the main bedroom, and a set of single bed bunks in the second bedroom. Nickle Doo is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children but ok for 3-4 adults as well. A cot is available on request.
The bathroom has also been newly renovated.
The living area has a TV and DVD/CD player, in addition to board games and a small library.
There is electric heating throughout.
A washing machine and dryer are available.

Nickle Doo is a unique property located in the heart of the amazing Tasman Peninsula in historic ‘Doo Town’, Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck. It is only one hour’s drive from Hobart. The world heritage site, Port Arthur is 25 minutes drive away.
The property is perched amongst the gum trees, and overlooks a creek which is frequented by wild ducks and wading birds. From the deck you may observe beautiful wild birds including the new Holland honey eater, grey shrike, spotted pardalote, kookaburra and yellow tailed black cockatoo. Additionally, Nickle Doo is only 1 minutes easy stroll over your personal footbridge to the pristine sands of Pirates Bay beach! On your way to the beach, and especially at night, keep a look out for native fauna including wombats, pademelon, wallaby, possum and bandicoots.
Nickle Doo is a great place to relax and unwind as well as being an ideal base for exploring the peninsula’s many natural and historic attractions. There’s so much to do and explore! Some of the main activities include bushwalking, birdwatching, fishing, sea coast sightseeing, swimming, surfing and diving (the peninsula’s kelp forests are world renowned for their beauty). Historic sites within an easy drive include the Port Arthur Historic Site and the Saltwater River Coal Mine Ruins.
