LIVING area is generous and comfortable, featuring a flat screen tv, an extensive selection of books, videos and dvds.

RELAX- Laze with a book from our library and listen to the waves crashing on the beach. There is a slow combustion fire for a little romance on those chilly evenings and the bedrooms are heated too.

BEDROOMS are spacious retreats. They have new pillow top mattresses. Sleep in luxurious 550 count Egyptian cotton linen and when you wake the first thing you will see is the ocean.

OUTDOOR decks are surrounded by an established garden and shaded by trees. There is an outdoor setting for 6 and a BBQ.

ROOM TO PLAY in our large level gardens and lawn areas.

GREAT LOCATION. Getting to and from the beach from many parts of Wye River can be a challenge due to the steep hills. Wye River Beach house is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, store, playground & store.

ENTERTAINMENT: New LCD flat screen TV and DVD player. Good TV reception, Video Player. Wireless, broadband internet, phone/land line.

KITCHEN: Gourmet kitchen with new quality cookware, appliances and stocked larder.

LOCATION: Beach is only 5 mins, 250m away. No big hills. 5 mins from pub, cafe and general store.

VIEWS: Beach and Ocean views from every room.

We saw koala's in the trees, saw king parrots, crimson rosella's, red browed finches, bats at dawn & dusk, kookaburra's and cockatoo's to name a few. We would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay at Wye River."

  • "We came with 2 overseas visitors, who said that Wye River was definitely their favourite place in the length of the Great Ocean Road. The atmosphere was really welcoming. This true beach house had everything - magnificent views everywhere, front and back outdoor living, walls of windows that could open to the breeze, or close to leave you snug around the fire. Simple but luxurious at the same time. A wonderful flexible setup for two families sharing. We just loved our stay. Thank you. "

Doing that bit extra to make it easier for us, we have a 6 month old and it was brilliant to stay at a baby friendly (they supplied the port-a-cot!!!) place. My fondest memory is waking up and looking between my feet to the ocean views, it was so relaxing. We just loved it."

  • "My partner and I came for the weekend to celebrate my partner's birthday and it was definitely a memorable one. The location was perfect, house was SO beautiful and cozy, and of course waking up to view of the ocean and the friendly wildlife (koalas & all sorts of birds) right out side our window is just to die for. The kitchen was well equipped, various DVD and book collection. We pretty much had everything we needed. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay. Bravo!"

  • "I went to Wye River with my partner to celebrate my birthday and we had a really wonderful time. The location is fantastic and the house is so comfortable and well equipped. One of the highlights was definitely the friendly wild life on the property. There were koalas in the trees and it was very exciting to feed parakeets and parrots and other beautiful birds directly from our hands. It was great spending time here in summer, but we're really looking forward to coming back in winter and snuggling up in front of the fire. "

  • "The house is wonderful, the setting is fantastic, koala in the tree staring at us in the morning, hand feeding king parrots and cuckatoos, the sea. What more can one want? Great library, DVD and CD collection, wide screen LCD, it's all there. Finally, great hosts who were very thoughtful; we were there for Xmas and we found small goodies waiting for us on arrival. I took overseas visitor there and their stay was memorable. I'll try to go back there very soon!"

  • "We spent a week at Easter here (one couple, second couple with 5 year old child). It was fantastic. The floor to ceiling glass meant we could assess the surf before we went down and also watch the most amazing lightning show one night. Plus showering outdoors (indoor option also!), lounging in front of an open fire, surfing waves and watching bird life. All very lovely and amazing."
