Suited to couples or a small family, San Juan is a two bedroom, one bathroom traditional beach house positioned in the centre of Wye River, offering panoramic views from the lounge and balcony.

San Juan is positioned in the “sunny strip” of Riverside Drive allowing you to receive all day sun on either the front or back deck.

With just a five minute walk to the beach, forest or Wye River General Store, San Juan is a great place for a getaway.

Watch ships go by, birdlife and koalas in the nearby trees and enjoy sleeping with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach below.

  • "Had a nice & relaxing stay at San Juan - the house itself has a lot of charm and a real 'beach shack' feel. Excellent location, great general store nearby and fantastic opportunities to see wildlife up and close. Bring a yoga mat and you could be saluting the sun every morning! "

  • "I highly recommend San Juan, and am very happy I chose it over the other property I was considering in Wye River, which was a little cheaper but not as well located. The property has lovely views of the water from the deck, the main living area, and from the front bedroom (you only have to open your eyes a little while lying in bed to see the sunrise over the ocean). It doesn't feel too close to or in view of other properties. You can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean but you won't hear any cars along the Great Ocean Road. The walk to the general store, pub, and beach is only about 5 minutes down the hill and a few extra on the way back up, with lovely views as you go. There are lots of gorgeous native birds around all the time, but they won't try to steal your food if you're having breakfast on the deck. Inside, the couch is huge and ultra comfy, and the kitchen really well stocked if you want to have coffees and teas and cook (and there are some good cookbooks to read). The place has a lovely feel - being open plan nd light-filled, and there are lots of thoughful touches. Highly recommended. Emily "

  • "Fabulous little get away. Simple, clean, beach house with stunning views of the beautiful Wye river. Would definitely stay there again. Sleeping to the sound of the ocean and watching all the bird life was mesmerising. Block out blinds on the bedroom windows would be my only request for the odd time you don't wish to see the sun rise. Thanks. Amanda and family"

  • "We spent the weekend at San Juan and absolutely enjoyed it! We loved how close it was to the beach (and the pub)... We walked up and down 3 times in one day. Everything we needed was in the house. Our favorite part was the balcony out the front where we barbecued twice and had drinks on. There is also a small herb garden that we stole a few basil leaves to add to our breakfast. Thank you, Andrew! We will be sure to be back before the warm months end... And we are already imagining winter nights on the couch infront of the fire :) "

  • "this place was perfect, nice size, extremley comfortable and homey yet with all modern cons and a great view. loved the verandah with bbq great spot for lounging and the back yard was great for afternoon sun. absolutely perfect for a beach get away. We will definetly come back here..."
