The Accommodation

The cottage is located on a quiet street with views of the Hills. There is a sixty year old cotton palm in the backyard which is a bit of a landmark in dernancourt it can be seen from miles around,hence the name.

The Cottage itself has been in the same family for over 70 years it was originally built in the 1930’s and is one of the few original homes in Dernancourt. It has certainly seen a lot of change from farming cattle on the hill and Celery growing where Coles is now!

Over the years there has been changes made to the homestead the most recent a year ago with a full renovation, brand new kitchen, laundry and updated bathroom, polished floors, down lights and ducted airconditioning.
Enjoy a Modern completely self contained cottage with character of yesteryear, whilst having the convenience and luxuries of modern living.

The home has everything you need for a relaxing stay, beautiful maintained gardens back and front, small lawn area and wonderful big verandahs for outdoor dinning or lazy rest and watch the world go by.

MASTER BEDROOM has a queen size bed with pillow top mattress, dresser with large mirror.

SECOND BEDROOM has a single bed

THIRD BEDROOM OR RETREAT has a sofa and has been set up as a separate area from the main lounge to relax read a book or look at the view out the window. The Sofa can also be used as a sofa bed to accommodate two people.

FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN with full size fridge/freezer, stainless electric oven and cook top, microwave, toaster , kettle, pots, pans, serving dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils and glassware.

LOUNGE has comfy lounge and two single seaters, TV, DVD player, coffee table.

DINNING room has a six seater dinning table, and radio/cd player.

BATHROOM has a full size bath and Shower, vanity, mirror and toilet

LAUNDRY is equipped with a front load washing machine and dryer with a large laundry tub ( Clothes Line out side and Pegs supplied) washng powder and cleaning fluids kept in laundry storage cupboards.

SITUATION & FACILITIES

The cottage is situated in a suburb of Adelaide called Dernancourt. Dernancourt is 13 Km's (by car) from the city. It is a good Location from which to explore what adelaide has to offer. There are famous wine regions in one direction and beautiful beaches in the other.

Walk to "Coles" major shopping centre which includes other Specilty shops, public transport almost at the door stop.
Near to westfield Tea Tree Plaza for all the Shopaholics needs! The bus will take take you straight there and back (15mins).

Hairdresser, Pizza, BP Servce Station all with in 3min walk.

Balmoral Park for a BBQ or the well known Linear Park for peaceful stroll or bike ride.
