Approx 2 hours from Melbourne, Lara is a light filled spacious house and can comfortably accomodate two or more families, groups, or just timeout with friends. No traffic, no neighbours, no noise just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy all the coast has to offer.
Laras meandering drive winds its way through a tea-tree tunnel to reveal a spacious architecturally designed house set on 5 acres surrounded by old growth gums, coastal banksias and beautiful herb and flower gardens.
Play footy or cricket on the expansive lawns, swim, surf, fish or bring your boards and buckets and spend fun filled days at the beach to return to the welcoming comforts of the large house. Watch dusk settle over the gardens while relaxing with a drink in the big chairs on the verandah then head indoors to the lounge and the big open fireplace.
Visit local wineries, cafes, farmers markets and food stores and enjoy the best of Gippsland produce.
Have a hit of Tennis, try a game of Bocce or Table Tennis. All equipment supplied. Lara has a fantastic games cupboard packed with creative toys and games for all ages, and a good supply of popular DVDs. Plenty of room to fly a kite, ride a bike, jump on the trampoline or explore the extensive gardens.

Lara is a substantial house with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a family room, and large lounge with fireplace, a casual and formal dinning area with 10/12 seat tables, and laundry.
There are 2 x Televisions, one with DVD player and VHS on the other and cd/radio sound system
The kitchen is well equipped with a dual oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and generous pantry space with plenty of quality crockery, cutlery and glassware. 3 electric wall bank heaters, a combustion heater and large open fireplace keep things toasty in Winter. Also Gas BBQ and outdoor setting for summer days/nights.
Fresh clean linen is supplied on all the beds, so no need to make beds up when you arrive, plenty of built in robes and tranquil garden views from each room.

A short drive takes you to North or South Walkeville beaches, the Historic Limekilns, Cape Liptrap Lighthouse with its spectacular views of Wilsons Prom and Bass Strait and beautiful Bear Gully beach, ideal for rock fishing and beach walks.
Venus Bay patrolled surf beach and township are also close by as are Waratah Bay and Sandy Point beaches, ideal for families, and surfing.
Visit Wilson's Promontory with its beautiful flora, fauna and nature walks. Support the Prom after the fires by visiting this amazing and unique National Park.
Explore the spectacular Strezlecki Ranges and Agnes waterfalls. The Great Southern Rail Trail or local wineries, craft shops, fishing, boating, and galleries and choice of golf courses, all of which are within easy driving distance.
