Mrs McFadyen's is a comfortable and spacious fully furnished two bedroom house with stunning views of Bass Strait and Ninth Island. In respect of this unique environment, no smoking is permitted and no pets are allowed.
There is direct access through the dunes to the beautiful sandy beach and an array of walking tracks to enjoy the stunning surroundings.
Weymouth is a peaceful conservation village situated at the mouth of Pipers River and is ideally positioned for visits to Tasmania's premier wineries, golf courses at nearby Tam o'Shanter (Lulworth) and the world renowned Barnbougle Dunes.
The numerous attractions of Launceston and the Tamar Valley are all within an hour's drive.
The house itself has a large open plan living and dining area with excellent sea views. There is a separate fully equiped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, electric stove and microwave oven. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms and the living area have ceiling fans for those warmer summer nights. The living area also has a wood fire for when the weather turns colder. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.
A separate laundry and shower are situated at lower level. A covered car port provides parking for two cars.
The attractively landscaped garden has an outdoor barbeque and attracts a multitude of birdlife and also native wildlife such as pademelons, echidnas and possums.
The Weymouth Shop is nearby as is the tennis court and children's playground. The boat ramp and river mouth are only a couple of minutes walk away. Other walks follow the river and coastline.
