You're in the heart of the Maragret River wine region and which ever way you turn there's a winery waiting to be explored.
Famous for international surfing competitions, Margaret River mouth is 10 mins drive away where spectacular scenery and awe inspiring waves may be viewed along this stretch of coastline.
BELLA RETREAT is nestled amongst 13 ACRES of jarrah and red-gum forest where you will feel complete privacy and tranquillity.
Access the property via a 200mt long driveway winding through the forest and once you arrive take the time to observe the native birds, flora and wildlife as you stroll through the surrounds.
We have regular visits from kangaroos especially at sunset and sunrise.
The array of wildflowers and majestic gums to be viewed from the paved pergola at Bella Retreat or the many porches of Forestview Escape, invite guests to enjoy outdoor living in gorgeous natural surroundings.
You will have plenty to see and do such as visiting art galleries, fine dining experiences, art galleries, plentiful wineries, caves to visit, horse-riding, swimming, surfing and much more. Enjoy the best the south west of Australia has to offer.

There are 2 bathrooms. One large main bathroom (with toilet, bath, handbasin and shower & vanity), one which doubles up as a laundry (with shower, handbasin, vanity) and a separate second toilet.
Fully equipped kitchen and laundry, TV/DVD/CD, BBQ and fabulous outdoor entertaining.
There is a large selection of CD's, a large flat screen TV, games, videos and DVD's, to suit all ages on those cooler nights when you just want to snuggle by the wood fired pot belly stove. For the warmer days, we have standard fans for each room.
FORESTVIEW ESCAPE (Please contact owner directly for pricing)
For those who would like to incorporate a larger group of family or friends, we have our second dwelling situated a minutes walk (80 metres) from BELLA RETREAT called FORESTVIEW ESCAPE.
So altogether, this property can sleep 14!!
An extensive covered deck on 3 sides brings the forest almost into the house to create a peaceful haven in a bush environment and is a unique setting in which to enjoy a relaxed lifestyle in stylish surroundings. Native gardens abound and pathways lead you to our dam and beyond, leading you to explore around the whole property
Forestview is newly renovated with brand new kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful views over the Karri Forest from one of the 2 porches.
There are 3 bedrooms :
Bed 1 - Queen Bed - Sleeps 2
Bed 2 - Kingsize Bed - Sleeps 2
Bed 3 - 2 x Singles - Sleeps 2
There are 2 bathrooms. One spacious with shower, toilet, vanity overlooking wonderful views of the forest. Another bathroom with the same facilities, again with views over the forest.
It has a completely fully equipped kitchen, pool table and piano and wood burning stove for colder nights. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan.
You can only book 'Forestview' if you book 'Bella Retreat' too.
Prices are for Bella Retreat only and unless you stipulate that you wish to take the 2 properties, this is the house where you will stay.
We value our guests privacy and understand that they book with us because they want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the bush setting without interruption. This is why we only book the one party in the 2 properties.

Child friendly, we have a small play area complete with swings and a larger area between the 2 properties with spring free trampoline and 'assault course'.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome upon approval.

FORESTVIEW ESCAPE is a minimum of $200 per night (Sleeps 6) This is for Low Season. This includes 2 guests. Full pricing quote can be given upon contact with the owner.

Go and have a coffee or dine in one of the restaurants on offer in the Margaret River township or browse through the array of interesting shops and art galleries which are only 5 mins drive away.
You're in the heart of the Maragret River wine region and which ever way you turn there's a winery waiting to be explored. Swimming and surf beaches are within a short drive and the cafes, hotels and restaurants of the region are within easy driving or cycling distance.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
PRICING:
Due to an increase in nightly commission required to be paid to Stayz, this property now rents from $220 per night instead of the original listed price which was from $210 per night. This will not affect any confirmed bookings or current quotes provided. Thank you for your understanding.
All daily rates quoted (including specials) are for 2 adults only, one Queen bed.
Extra adults are $20 per person per night, extra children are $15 per child per night.
CLEANING:
Due to the limited time available to service the home, we request that guests ensure the home is left clean and tidy. Additional charges will be made against the bond should the home require more than a basic clean.
NB The BBQ and pot belly fireplace must be cleaned by guests after each use.
WOOD is provided free for guests. We respectfully ask that guests to not use our supply for the outdoor fire in the childrens playground (only to be used from May to October). You can source plenty of wood from the forest. Money will be deducted from you bond if you are seen to have not abided by this rule.
