Come and be transformed by a stay at beautiful "Sea Treasure" where the peace and beauty of Callala Bay and Beach will work some magic on you.
The house is large, very comfortable and spacious with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & three separate living areas. You will enjoy the quality inclusions - three TVs, sound systems and plenty of places to read, have a chat and a glass of bubbly or simply put your feet up. Listen to the birds and the waves and inhale fresh sea air. Up to ten people can be comfortably accommodated.
Sea Treasure is one bush block back from the waterfront reserve, one minute walk from the front door to a stunning view out over Jervis Bay. Stairs a few metres away take you to a safe shallow swimming channel used by the local people for a warm dip! A short stroll around & you are on the sands of beautiful Callala Beach with it's clear aqua blue waters. Lots of fun swimmimg here too! Take lovely walks to Callala Bay jetty, and the beach beyond to Hare Bay, or in the opposite direction use the paved path through bushland to Callala Beach shops.
The garden's natural bush setting provides a haven for local birds & wildlife. Relax in the gazebo and enjoy a wine whilst the steaks sizzle on the BBQ. The garden and courtyard off the family room are pleasant and sheltered even on wintery days
The garden is fully fenced and safe for kids and dogs.
Explore the many pristine beaches and small villages that dot the shores of our beautiful Jervis Bay. Enjoy the local colourful weekend markets - you are sure to find treasures and quality fresh produce. Venture further afield to Milton, Berry and the Kangaroo Valley for fun day trips.
If you must bring work with you we have an ADSL wifi connection available - but try not to. There's too much fun to have here.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:
Water sports - swimming, surfing, snorkelling (Hare Bay is just up the beach, and very suitable for inexperienced snorkellers), scuba diving on numerous reefs, sailing, sailboarding, kayaking, ocean, rock & beach fishing, boating (4 boat ramps in region). A tennis court is available locally - $6 per hour - just ask at the First National Real Estate office on Boorawine Terrace (they handle bookings) Golf is available at Worrigee (near Nowra) where a new golf course and club has been built.
Dolphin & whale cruises leave from Huskisson. They are a lot of fun. A pod of dolphins live in Jervis Bay and are regular visitor to callala Bay and Beach.
Beach Daze charters and cruises, Jervis Bay have a (35ft) sailing catamaran for day charter with a spacious deck, BBQ facilities available, snorkeling equipment & water lounges provided. Dolphin watch & beach stops. Cruises depart from Callala Bay
Have a lot of fun hiring jet skis from Huskisson - they will meet you on the beach at Myola about 10 min drive from Callala Bay with the jet skis.
There are numerous bush & beach walks, local and a drive away - Booderee National park and Green Patch being just a couple.
The Callala area has a huge variety of wild life (marine & bush)with wonderful bird watching opportunities everywhere around this area. Kangaroos are regular visitors on the school oval and in the bush areas around Callala Bay. Dolphin pods and whales can be easily seen from beaches and headlands.
There are anumber of local wineries. Coollangatta winery is a 40 minute drive away and holds jazz concerts on weekends. Jaspers Brush between Berry and Nowra is a winery - also a fine restaurant for evening meals
INDOOR ACTIVITIES:
The delightful township of Berry is 35 minutes drive away through the beautiful Shoalhaven River flats - take the Terara Rd for a lovely scenic drive. There is great shopping there with lovely arts and crafts, clothng and jewellery. You have a good choice of cafes for lunch too. Great markets too on some weekends.
Art lovers can visit Bundanon, the home of the famous painter, Arthur Boyd, now left to the state and wonderful to visit. Riversdale another previous Boyd residence is also well worth a visit - a beautiful spot for a picnic on the banks of the Shoalhaven. The Shoalhaven Gallery in Nowra has some interesting displays. Meroogal, a small but fascinating old historic home in Nowra, just 20 minutes from Callala Bay, is also well worth a visit for those interested in the early history of the area.
Husskison, just south of Callala Beach, has its famous "Husskie" pub with one of the best views with a decent counter lunch in Australia. Visit an Emu farm on the way in from Callala, or see a movie in the quaint cinema - very country and fun.
PLACES TO EAT ROUND CALLALA:
*Callala Bay - Bayside Shopping Village (Emmett St) with an IGA supermarket.The IGA at the Callala Bay shopping centre has a terrific range of groceries, deli and general items and you can provision yourself well there for some great home-cooked feasts. There are a couple of cute cafes too. Also have a bottle shop, chicken/fish take-a-way shop, pharmacy, excellent hardware and all round fishing shop, butchers and video hire.
*Fine dining at Silos (Jaspers Brush vineyard on road bet Nowra and Berry, Seagrass Brasserie at Huskisson - need to book.
Pelican Rocks retsaurant at Greenwell Point also nice. All Sydney prices but good food.
*Bistro on the way to Callala at Shoalhaven Ex-Servo's Sports Club, with a new 18 hole golf course.
*The Old Bakehouse restaurant - 10 minutes from Callala Bay - on the road in from Nowra, is also excellent for a fine dining experience. Fab food there - lunch and dinner - check days! Make the booking first.
*Greenwell Point is a small fishing village - try the fresh oysters from the oyster farmer himself on the right hand side of the road as you come into town - they are EXCELLENT!! Fish & chips with the pelicans at the reserve at the point is also a tourist tradition.
*Currarong - has the beautiful Abrahams Bosom beach - try Zacs seafood takeaway, petrol station/internet cafe/post office
*Callala Bay & Callala Beach have a Country Club on the road in to Callala Beach - a good place to have a decent Chinese meal & quench the thirst buds.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We have a minimum stay of 2 consecutive nights. Upon confirmation of your booking, our local agent will contact you and finalise the booking. We also require a $200.00 security bond which is refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the property after your departure. Note that this $200.00 is not the limit of your liability. You will be held liable for any damage to our house and if the damage exceeds the $200.00 deposit you will be responsible for any excess cost.
When you come to Sea Treasure the house and grounds will be sparkling, ready for your holiday. Please leave the house and grounds as you found them: we are happy to provide extra resources if you need them .
