Guest Reviews

  • "Absolute delight to have stayed away from the crowds. Woolamai Escape is a neat "home away from home" with nothing but the sounds of birds, wind blowing through the trees and the sounds of distant farm animals. Our kids enjoyed playing cricket in the back yard, walking through the rear pine forest and throwing boomerangs in the surrounding open spaces (there's even a swing hanging off a tree in a vacant block of land if you look for it). We were a short five to ten minute drive from Kilcunda beach (and pub). Fifteen minutes from Phillip Island - and when you see how many people there are on the Island, its a relief to get off and come home to peace and quiet. The Woolamai Races is a fantastic day out - go have a punt, enjoy a few drinks and walk home, it's just a few hundred metres down the road. Recommended to those who prefer to avoid crowded rat races."
