Ideal Location

On sandy North Creek, swim, fish and frolic just outside the front door. Swim in crystal clear water. Chase the soldier crabs on the sandy flats. Watch dolphins play in the river.
Use the broad promenade to ride or walk to shops, breakwater or surf beaches. Strolling the river promenade at dusk is almost compulsory.

20-30 minutes drive to rural villages and hamlets - local fare, markets and pubs. 25 minutes (including the car ferry ride) to unspoilt South Ballina surf beach. 30 minutes to Byron via Lennox Head and the scenic coast road. 30 minutes to Lismore, the region's capital. 1 hour to the Tweed and Gold Coast.
