Relax in your top of the range luxury double spa bath or curl up by the Cottage wood fire with a good bottle of wine to watch a DVD on your stereo wide screen TV. Stretch out in your queen size bed for the best nights sleep you\'ve had in years, before waking to the gentle sounds of the countryside and another beautiful day in the Tweed Valley.

Self catering enthusiasts will love the fully functional kitchen with a full size gas stove, fridge and microwave oven, as well as Gas BBQ on your private verandah so you can enjoy the traditional Aussie BBQ whilst taking in the spectacular views to the rainforests of Springbrook Ranges and the Cougal Mountains.

You can choose to fully self cater, or take our breakfast basket option which includes: your choice of juice, selection of cereals, pancake mix, maple syrup, fresh fruit, waffles, a loaf of home-baked bread, smoked salmon, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, our own free range eggs, selection of home-made preserves, butter, milk, local honey, selection of teas and fresh coffee ~ or you name your preference and we\'ll do our best to oblige.

The comfortable lounge, with high raked ceilings, split system reverse cycle air-conditioning plus ceiling fans for summer comfort and a wood burning fire for winter romance, is completely separate from the queen size bedroom and large ensuite bathroom. Double glass sliding doors open from the lounge to your private verandah where you will find comfortable sun lounges and a gas BBQ. We provide a selection of DVDs and CDs to ensure that our Cottage is your self catering holiday home away from home.

The bedroom has another set of double glass sliding doors which look directly at Mt Warning. The bedroom is completely separate from the lounge and has a large ensuite bathroom. Two built-in wardrobes provide plenty of hanging space ~ robes and plenty of hangers too ~ whilst ceiling fans and air-conditioned lounge ensure summer comfort. The wood fire heats the whole cottage splendidly in Winter, but if you don\'t want to light the fire, the reverse cycle air-conditioning provides heating at the push of a button.

Your large ensuite bathroom comes complete with
top of the range, luxury double spa bath and separate oversize shower, robes, bath towels, pool towels, hairdryer, selection of toiletries, candles, heater, extractor fan and views from a large picture window to Mt Warning.

Located in beautiful Crystal Creek, just a short 12 minute drive from the centre of Murwillumbah in the Tweed Valley, on the far North Coast of NSW.

Hillcrest Cottage is in its own private, fenced and screened garden close to the pool area on our 5 landscaped acres, surrounded by the rolling green hills of a 165 acre farm with spectacular views to Mt Warning from the bedroom and bathroom windows to the Springbrook Border Ranges and the Cougal Mountains from the Lounge windows.

The Cottage is completely private and fully equipped, perfect for romantic getaways and honeymoons as we are centrally located to 5 World Heritage listed National Parks, golf, joyflights, horse-riding, boat cruises, whale watch, art gallery, arts and crafts markets and much, much more.
