The LOCAL AREA

SeaBreezes is minutes walk from Abraham Bosoms beach and Warrain beach. A 10 minute walk will take you to the beginning of the peninsula bushwalk which leads all round the Beecroft Peninsula and off which can be found numerous small private beaches and bays. A bit further into the bushwalk leads to spectacular cliff walks. There are approximately 14 beaches within the near vicinity of SeaBreezes.

Being surrounded by bushland, beaches and with no hotels, motels or through traffic, Currarong is one of the most peaceful and picturesque parts of the south coast.

Abrahams Bosom Beach is a safe sheltered beach which has picnic grounds with wood BBQs at either end. A variety of walks start from this sheltered cove ranging from the 500-meter stroll to the wreck of the SS Merimbula to the half-day Coombs walk. The cliffs off the peninsular are spectacular.

A number of walks and sheltered swimming areas can be accessed from the road to Point Perpendicular. The lookout allows spectacular views of Jervis Bay. The lighthouse is a photographers delight. Whales, dolphins and seals can often be spotted from the top of the cliffs.

Honeymoon Bay, a small heart-shaped beach on the Beecroft Peninsula is another popular destination for snorkelling.

Excellent rock fishing is to be found all around the peninsula.

Bushwalking, swimming, snorkelling, photo-taking, fishing and bird watching are just some of the offerings available in this beautiful part of the world.

Short drives will take you to the beautiful Kangaroo Valley or to the village at Berry.

PET FRIENDLY

SeaBreezes is completely dog-friendly - your canine companion/s are welcome inside the house so they can enjoy their holiday too. The large gardened backyard is securely fenced for those times your canine needs to be outside. The local area is also very dog friendly. The Beecroft Peninsula bushwalks (a short (10 minute) walk) from SeaBreezes is canine friendly so you can take your dog bushwalking with you and explore the many small beaches, bays and magnificent cliff tops.

Hi Claire
Just letting you know we all (including the dogs) had a wonderful holiday at SeaBreezes last week. We had some great walks thru the peninsula, and discovered those beautiful little beaches. The boys went scuba diving at Hyams beach and one day we hired sea kayaks on St Georges Basin. The dogs loved swimming at the beach too. We wish that we could have stayed longer.

Hi Claire,
We wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at Seabreezes. What a magical place you have and well what about the superb Currarong. I will be sure to be in touch again when we need further R&R.

We did get to see dolphins swimming right around the fisherman and well yes there was what seemed a resident Whale mother and calf playing for all to see on several occassions.

Thanks again.
Anne

This was my first choice as I had stayed at this property previously and really enjoyed it. The house was very comfortable and homey and well set up as pet friendly accommodation. I would definitely stay at SeaBreezes again.

We had a great time, very relaxing. The house is large and lovely, we enjoyed playing table tennis! Perfect!
Linda who scored SeaBreezes as 5/5

This is a great house, particularly for teenagers and dogs (lots of space, nice garden and balcony, and having the separate living area downstairs with table tennis nearby is ideal. The kitchen is very well-equipped too. Would thoroughly recommend this house - Currarong and its beaches and walking tracks make for a lovely holiday, and everything is within easy walking distance - great for dogs!

It was a great house for a large number of guests with plenty of space

Real "Sea Breezes" kept the heat down in the house and the upstairs balcony was a lovely place to dine

Fantastic for dogs as the back yard is large and very safely fenced.

Currarong is an excellent place to have a relaxing holiday. The town is out of the way and unspoilt, but offering opportunities to Bushwalk, Fish, Swim (surf is accessible but may have to do a couple of Km's, Tennis and nearby Point Perpendicular.

SeaBreezes is a great house offering all the mod coms and plenty of room, close enough to hear the ocean. It was pleasant to sit out on the balcony and eat with views to the ocean. It is located only a short stroll from the club and shops. A bonus for us was being able to bring our four legged canine friend with us, she enjoyed the house and the beach.

  • "Once again a fabulous stay at Seabreezes!! This time with family from overseas and it didnt disappoint! The whole family loved it as did our dog. The weather was picture perfect and it topped off another fantastic stay....thanks Claire for the warm welcome and making it so easy to book...it certainly made my 40th celebrations very special!! Would recommend it to anyone!"

  • "We just stayed at SeaBreezes for two weeks and absolutely loved it there! It was the perfect place to stay for a winter holiday by the seaside. The heaters worked wonders and because the house is really nice, fully equipped and well-looked after, it was a great place to spend the few rainy days we had. On the sunny days, we explored the area surrounding Currarong, which was really enjoyable with our little child as well. "

  • "This was the first time we have visited the Jervis Bay area and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Currarong was beautiful and Sea Breezes made our stay all the better. Our pooch absolutely loved the placed as did we. It is very well equipped and we loved our evenings on the balcony. The evening sunsets were amazing. Had a fantastic time exploring the beaches and bushland without having to drive anywhere...the scenery is stunning and we loved being able to take our dog everywhere and so did she! Would highly recommend Sea Breezes to anyone wanting an exceptionally dog friendly and relaxing holiday! "

  • "My wife Samantha and I, along with our Spoodle Dougal visited Seabreeze for a short weekend away late in August. The weather turned on a treat for us, after some early rain on Saturday morning we had a beautiful clear afternoon to go exploring the bushland with our puppy. We had a beautiful 3 hour walk around Abrahams Bosom, ending with a swim at the beach for the pooch. The house was beautiful - the kitchen was spacious and well equipped, the living areas very comfortable. The balcony has a beautful view over the bay, although we knew all about the 30 knot winds that blew in on Saturday and Sunday mornings! Best of all, the house actually is dog friendly, unlike some other properties that we have visited. The backyard is truly escape proof, and the wooden floors are good in case of any little accidents - luckily our dog is past that point! Currarong is a beautful part of the area - we have stayed in Vincentia several times but Currarong is quieter, and has a very pleasant feel about it. If you are looking for somewhere to holiday with your fur baby, you can't go past Seabreeze. Clayton, Samantha and Dougal"

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The layout of the house is perfect for adults with kids - and dogs. Lovely view off of the balcony. We will definitely be coming back. "

  • "Currarong is a jewel of the south coast. We needed a peaceful getaway and we certainly got it at Sea Breezes. Lovely beaches and for the more adventurous other beaches can be discovered off the beaten track. Our Bernese Mountain dog felt right at home and Claire made arrangements when an emergency delayed our stay on check out. Even though the weather wasn't the best we still had a wonderful time... "

  • "Seabreezes was a great house to holiday in. Plenty of room for 5 adults plus 2 dogs. The house was always cool, and a pleasant walk to beaches and peninsula. Our dogs enjoyed their holiday too - what a treat to be able to take them to the beach! We would happily book Seabreezes for future holidays."
