Description

Riverside is a 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom residence fully equipped for a relaxing family &/or friends holiday.

A sandy beach (tidal) provides great access for swimming, fishing & boating.
Large open plan living & the sleeping configuration allows for families or groups of families to enjoy time together without over crowding.

The lounge area is equipped with a large lounge suite, LCD TV, DVD, & entertainment centre.

The recently added games room is seperate from the living area & will provide plenty of entertainment should the weather not be favourable.

The bedroom configuration is 3 x Queen (with river views and 1 with walk through robe & ensuite), 1 x double, 1 with 2 singles & a bunk room with 4 singles. (There is also a sofa bed off the main living area)

Location

Riverside is located on the north side of the Hastings River, Port Macquarie.

Access is via the Hibbard (Boundary St) or Settlement Point car ferries however don't let this deter you as one runs 24/7 & the short ferry ride enhances the "getting away" feeling.

Things to do

Swim, canoe or just relax.
Fish off the shore in front of the house or hire a boat to fish up river.
Live bait (yabbies) can be pumped on the sand beds.
Dolphins often cruise the river & koala's live in the area.
For a day trip take a drive to Crescent Head or Point Plummer (dirt road).

You could do as much or as little as you like, lots of activities at the house from games, to kayaking to fishing or just the perfect place to curl up with a good book. The house was very well equipped with everything you need for a stress free holiday, it was also super clean and well maintained. You will not be disappointed with riverside, we all agreed we could easily live there...so relaxing and peaceful, you will not want to leave. "

  • "We had a great time at this house. The place had everything you would ever need for a relaxing holiday. The level of customer service provided by the owners was far beyond anything you would get from staying at an expensive hotel. When dealing with the owners it felt like it was really important to them that you had an amazing time. We were only a small a group but the house could easily cater for a dozen people. The house and the river it is on provided plenty of entertainment. The highlight would have to of been being able to fish out the back of house in the evening whilst watching the sun setting over the river. "
