  • "What an amazing beach house! We stayed here for a weekend with 4 adults and one 2 year old. The house deck has probably the best view of anywhere I have ever seen. Truly superb. Unfortunately it rained for a solid day but we still managed to make the most of it. Great access to the beach (2 min walk). Excellent BBQ, good kitchen with normal amenities. Great HD LCD TV! That was a nice touch. The herb garden saved the day when we needed a twig of rosemary for the roast dinner. Quite a way by car from Ulladulla/Milton (20-25 mins) but a general store about 5 minutes drive is available for emergency items. The house itself is really quaint and nice - very beachy feel. You can hear the waves at night which adds to the mood. We loved it - had an awesome weekend. "

  • "Two people walk onto a view that is instant bliss, in a house that can sleep two families! Total indulgence. Best meals('cause I cooked)great kitchen, best wine and best view. Thereafter, every second was indelible."

  • "Stepping through the door of Pelican's Rest was like looking after a friend's house who had gone away. I had to pinch myself to believe that he or she would allow us to slip into his/her shoes and enjoy such ambience.Comfortable leather sofas, homely eat in kitchen with huge table to sit around for hours with candles, a glass of wine and sumptious feasts. Restaurants in the town paled into insignificance since Pelican's Rest was too nice to leave. I was amazed that our 'friend' had the same taste in music and we were permitted to play the cd's. Sunlight streamed into the lounge/formal dining room and lazy Sunday mornings with the papers were only interrupted by birdsong from the cute cottage garden.Beds and bathrooms were just like home and to top it all, the jaunty nautical theme with pelicans featuring throughout, was most fitting since the end of the street was a roosting/feeding spot for Queenscliff's pelicans. A short stroll to town or beachwalks: what a lovely spot, highly recommended!"

  • "We had a great stay at this property and would highly recommend it. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear and the house well fitted out, clean, modern and comfortable. The town is is nice and quiet but close enough to Milton/Ulludulla for supplies. You can hire a boat at the lake conjola post office which is a lot of fun. The surfing is senstional and there is a good fishing spot on the rocks. Lying back on the sun bed looking at the ocean is probaly one of the most releaxing things one could do. The other bonus with this house is it's closeness to the beach, there are only a few places in Manyana this close. The real estate were also very good to deal with."
