Description
Oliver's Cottage in Cessnock has now been in operation for just over 4 years. In this time we have accommodated hundreds of very satisfied guests, all of whom have come to our area for varying reasons, and we have been successfully able to make them feel welcome & happy in our cottage.
Oliver's Cottage is self catering, our kitchen has all you need if wanting to cook for yourselves, the two Queen bedrooms are spacious & air-conditioned. The third Twin bedroom has Eco-Panel heating and all rooms have over head fans if required.
The lounge / sitting area has air-conditioned, television & DVD player, as well as a Cd player for your music. The laundry has a washing machine, iron & board for you use. Parking is either on the front street or safe in our backyard, park your car and walk, great way to see Cessnock
Oliver's Cottage has solar energy panels & solar water heating to save our power costs and as our Green Credentials. The cottage has the latest tourist information booklets for your use in exploring the Hunter.
Whether you are going to a concert at one of the venues in the Hunter vineyards, a wedding, catching up with friends on a wine tasting / touring weekend, or just need a place to stay for any reason we can accommodate you and your guests.
Situated in south Cessnock just a short walk to the main shopping eating area of downtown Cessnock, we are also are very close to the pick-up point for Rover Motors shuttle service to the major concerts in Pokolbin. Within walking distance you will also find many great local pubs to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner, as well as a quiet ale or glass of wine.
We have also catered for semi-permanent guests who are staying in our area for longer times usually on work contracts, we offer a reduced rate for this, so please contact us for any further information.
Oliver's Cottage is only a 10 minute drive to the vineyards & wineries of the Pokolbin region of the Lower Hunter Valley, you can easily organise a Wine Tour to be picked up at your doorstep.

50% deposit required at time of booking, balance payable minimum one week prior to arrival date. Minimum two night stay Fri / Sat.. nights Sunday night is an extra $75
if you stay Fri/Sat nights.
Rates are for 4 persons ( 2 couples ) using two bedroom, if third bedroom is required then $35 per person per night is extra. ( Maximum 6 persons )
If you have a small child we can supply you a babies cot & stroller , just ask.
