Guest Reviews

  • "I'd like to convey our thanks and compliments to both the Margaret River Visitor Centre (booking number 1225422) as well as the owner/manager of The Break Margaret River Beach Houses where we recently spent the weekend of 6-8 Feb. The accommodation was great, and our stay was made all the more pleasant by the courteous and efficient services of the Visitor Centre, complemented by a very friendly and customer-focussed manager of the Beach House (Laura Strachan?). Could you please pass on again our appreciation and thanks to that nice young man (assistant wine maker at Watershed Wines) who took the trouble to come out to our beach house on a Friday evening at 7pm just to fix a stubborn latch on the door to the patio. The complementary bottle of Watershed wine (one of our favourite wineries in the region) he left with us certainly was a hit! It's nice to know that good, old fashioned service still exists and these gestures ensure repeat clients and further recommendations. Many thanks again. "

  • "The condo was very spacious but lacking in that "homey" feel. Hotel style towels (thin and white) and no beach towels, even though you are very close to the beach. Very small pool (the photos are deceiving) and there's no view of the beach (again, the website photos are deceiving). The back gate does not lock so we didn't feel we could leave the windows open in the rooms downstairs; would be more secure if guests could lock the back gate. Overall it was an okay place, very clean and tidy, and it suited our needs, but nothing really special. The location however is great--very central! A short drive to Margaret River town (a must!) and very close to some excellent wineries. Also, the beach there is stunningly beautiful (as are most of the beaches in the region!)."
