Guest Reviews

  • "Just superb. 3 small children and 4 adults all had plenty of room to move. Fantastic views and everything we needed - from wine glasses to a cheese knife! Want to come back in summer to spend more time in the pool - going from the spa (37.5 degrees) to the pool (which felt like minus 37.5 degrees!)in the month of June is not recommended! Thanks, Marianne. We will definitely be back."

  • "Well we arrived on the worse week of the year, the Brisbane storms. We were very concerned as our daughter was getting married on the weekend, the weather didn't damper our stay. We had a lovely wedding and the family enjoyed the warmth and style of the terrace. We have some lovely photo's of the property and our so special occasion which will be in our memories forever. Thankyou Marrianne"

  • "My family were recently visiting from interstate and absolutely loved staying in this house whilst they were here! Fantastic views of the city during the day and everyone enjoyed sitting out on the balcony at night gazing at the city lights - Just beautiful! There was something to keep everyone entertained. The pool, spa, sauna, plasma, broadband internet, beautiful kitchen, plenty of books to read, and just a short trip into the CBD. Also not too far from the XXXX brewery which kept some of the boys occupied for a few hours. The house is surprisingly spacious and very little street noise considering the position. We agree with Joanne that the photos on this site do not do the house justice! Marianne made my family feel very welcome. Just like home! And the little extras were a real treat!! We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway with all the comforts of home - plus some! "

  • "Absolutely lovely property, 5 of us girls had a wonderful stay, great place with great facilities for entertaining - dinner on either of the balconies or in the comfort of air-con if too hot! Very spacious and suprisingly very peaceful considering we were only 5 mins from the city! Very relaxed time spend between the pool, spa and on the realxing couches with awesome views of the city. $10-$15 cab fare to the Normandby, Paddington, Caxton Street (Although withiin walking distance if the weather is not too hot for you!), $18-20 to the City. The property exceeded the expectations of the photographs displayed on the stayz site! Would definately book again for our next girls weekend away in Brisbane! "

  • "What a brilliant location and property! We loved the place, good layout, location, facilities and a charming owner who cannot do enough to make your stay one to remember. We will be looking to make staying here a regular event and our only reservation in giving too much praise is it may not be available when we want it next."

  • "We spent 3 days at The Terrace and we only left for 2 hours to go shopping the rest of our stay was relaxing in the pool, hot tub and sauna, or on the deck taking in the views of Brisbane. It was a short taxi ride into the city or by public transport. Loads of space for the whole family. We will definately stay again."

  • "Hilltop views of the city are simply heavenly; in addition it offers all the little luxuries to make your stay entirely one of indulgent. There is also broadband connection, and the local shops are just a two minute drive by car. Hilltop will be our first choice in somewhere to stay in Brisbane from now on."
