Surfing, swimming, waterskiing, scuba diving, go carts, horse riding (guided or self ride adventures), pitch n putt, hire boats, boat cruises, dolphin and whale watching, fishing, bush walking, Gan Gan lookout, golf, parasailing, marina, wineries, restaurants, markets, museums and art galleries.
Those with 4WD vehicles can explore the beach dunes of Stockton Bight and visit Tin City and the Signa wreck. Some may enjoy a camel trek through the dunes.

Birubi Beach is an easy 3 minute walk. Anna Bay shops/services are within a 3 minutes drive away. The village of Anna Bay provides the visitor with all the basic needs. Here you can find an IGA supermarket, 2 bakeries, newsagency/post office, chemist, doctor surgery, butcher, tavern with a bistro, bottle shop and service station. There is also takeaway fish and chip shop and pizza shop and a lovely Thai restaurant. More extensive facilities are a 6 minute drive away at the Salamander Centre in Salamander Bay. Here you will find 2 major supermarkets, Kmart, specialty shops, banks etc..
The main township of Nelson Bay is 10km from Anna Bay.
