Guest Reviews

  • "Great Accomodation!!! The house is very clean with modern appliances that you can use. There's plenty of rooms that can accomodate a large group. We use this guest house for our church camp and yearly planning, and it was such a blessing cause the place is so close to everything. It is just less than ten minutes drive to the beach, the lake and the shopping center. It has a large playground for the kids, a veg garden and fruit trees which is a big bonus. If you want to go to Forster I strongly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. And Oh yea, the owners are very kind and helpful as well! Cheers Guys!!!"

  • "A beautiful house and property!! The grounds are simply amazing and I greatly enjoyed the fruit and vegetable garden and the fresh eggs from the chickens. The owners should be given great credit for the lengths taken to ensure the house is as environmentally friendly as possible! The spacious house was perfect for myself and my 8 friends to stay. I will certainly be returning!"

  • "Thank you for the wonderful stay ???that we had at your property on the weekend. We really enjoyed ourself with what was available, and the Veggie/Fruit garden at the back was the icing on the cake. Totally unexpected but highly appreciated by us all. The property itself is fantastic and it was a pity that we were not able to stay there longer. We all loved our stay (young and old) and are looking forward to coming back there again in the new year..... hopefully this time for a longer period. I have to confess that I have been guilty in promoting the place to my colleagues at work and also to other family members that were disappointed that they weren't invited. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to leave feedback and share the wonderful experience that we had. Looking forward to returning back soon. "

  • "This house is just beautiful! When we arrived we were greeted by the landscaped grounds & a magnificent sandstone house. The inside of the house is furnished with character & has a very welcoming vibe. We loved the chickens, the horses next door & the beautiful patio & hammock! We didn't get to stay long enough to take full advantage of the beautiful grounds & the herb garden, but guarantee we will be back! I would love to get married on grounds just like it! "

  • "Peaceful relaxing house with wide verandahs on 3 sides and red hot poker plants outside the other. Downstairs is a very large living area, kitchen and study with sofa bed. There is a small bathroom near the study, this was good for my old mother who doesnt like stairs. Great place for a group, 6 large all wood lined bedrooms upstairs and 2 more bathrooms + extra toilet. No bunk beds either! Great view from the main bedroom balcony. We had relaxing barbeques on the big verandah, and picked herbs and lemons from the garden for the salad. 3 happy chooks laid us eggs for breakfast. Must come back and bring more children, top spot for adventure games. There are 2 Moreton Bay figs with ladders to tree houses, a rocky creek and boardwalk. Mini soccer pitch too. "

  • "Myself and a group of close friends stayed at Bungayarra for a weekend getaway to relax and it was everything we could've hoped for! The property is private from neighbours and in a quiet location, but only minutes to forster-tuncurry. Perfect for a large family group and plenty of outdoors for the kids as well. It was a breath of fresh air and I will happily recommend it to everyone! "

  • "Thanks for letting us stay in this wonderful, comfortable and very nice place. We really had a great time while spending the long weekend in Forster especially with such a beautiful house to go back to at the end of the day. We are a group of 12 but still very spacious. Loved the bedrooms! Awesome dining table! Comfy lounge area! We enjoyed picking fruits and herbs at the garden. The owner is very kind. We'll surely be back!"

  • "What a fantastic place. The house is beautifully designed with all mod cons. The kitchen is a joy to cook and has everything you need and more. The lounge great for relaxing and watching films on the plasma TV. The gardens are superb, particularly just before sunset with a glass of wine and we loved picking herbs and veg from the veggie patch - so much so we bought ourselves a kaffir lime tree! This is a truly relaxing place to escape to and our dog and son loved it. (Young children need to be supervised in gardens at all times). It was lovely to visit many of the nearby beaches and lakes and come back to such a wonderful house. We totally recommend it and would love to come again. "

  • "Absolutely gorgeous house built for relaxation and comfort. With its large open styled rooms and modern day furniture it still holds a unique classic feel through its wooden features. Overall the property and location are great, the locals showed us a nice secret beach 10 mins away, my friends and I had a bender of a time and loved every minute of it. Lastly a very special shout out to the next door neighbours dog Sally. The most friendly, fun and adorable friend we spent majority of our time with! So much we were very tempted to take her home with us!"
