It is an ideal venue for water activities, swimming, boating, sailing, waterskiing, as well as bushwalking and bike riding. The 90 Mile Ocean Beach is less than 5 minutes by car where there are further opportunities for fishing or simply, pleasant walks or games on the beach.
The town provides Marina and Hotel facilities, Supermarket and Bottle Shop, Cafes, Fast Food Outlets, RSL, country style golf course, bowls and tennis courts.
