After a hectic Xmas, The Cottage was just the place to relax. The setting is tranquil, yet close enough to get supplies in Huonville without a major trip. The cottage is well appointed and there are unexpected extras in the kitchen such as dried herbs and some extra vegetables and eggs in the frig. Three cars passed the house in the three days we were there - so quiet. This is a great base for the natural attractions of the Huon Valley and relaxing little home away from home to savour after a 'hard days' touring or adventuring. Its rural charm adds to its excellent value for money appeal.

Stayed 3 very comfortable nights enjoying the fire on 2 chilly nights. Great location as a tourist base in a lovely, very quiet rural location. The kitchen and bathroom were a delight with all the utensils clean and well maintained.
Will recommend it as a great place to stay.

Great location, great value for money and great facilities. We stayed for 3 nights over Easter and were very impressed with the property. Comfy beds, great fire which kept the whole place warm, and the jam was delicious. Would definitely recommend this property as a great place to use as a base for exploring the Huon Valley.

I stayed for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the cottage and surrounds. The cottage is located within 5 minutes to all amenities yet enjoys a wonderfully secluded aspect and being located just half an hour from Hobart, makes it an ideal base to explore the Huon Valley and South Eastern Tasmania. The cottage is comfortable and well appointed and as I intend to return soon, this is the best endorsement that I can give.

This cottage is in the middle of nowhere, yet 5 minutes from the nearest rural centre. You can see the stars - all of them! And how's the serenity!
The owners are friendly, but not intrusive. The amenities are complete and comfortable. It is child friendly.
We would definitely recommend The Cottage, and hope to stay again.
