Description

Beachwood Retreat is a spacious holiday home nestled in Bouddi National Park with its own swimming pool. A short walk on a sandy path through the national park provides access to fabulous MacMasters Beach. MacMasters is an ocean beach with good surf patrolled between Oct and Easter, and great amenities for children (ocean pool and beachside playground).

Beachwood features a 12m gated swimming pool with sun loungers, large rumpus room with full size pool table (equipped for pool, snooker and billiards), darts board and TV, new fully equipped kitchen (including large oven, cooktop, microwave, blender and dishwasher ) with breakfast bar, massive lounge with open fire and views of Copacabana headland, TV/DVD including Foxtel, 2 stereos (both with ipod docking), separate dining room with woodburning stove and bar with drinks fridge. The living space opens onto a large deck with dining table, reclining chairs and gas BBQ, overlooking the in-ground pool and the national park. A high chair is available for use.

The property sleeps 11, plus two sofa beds, total 13 and a travel cot are available if needed. Upstairs is a king bedroom, a double room and a room with two king singles that can be pushed together to form a king bed. There are two bathrooms upstairs both with showers and baths, one of which is a spa bath. Downstairs there is a bunk room sleeping up to five (one of the bunks has a double bed on the bottom) and with an ensuite bathroom. From the downstairs ensuite bathroom there is direct access to the back garden and the path down to the beach so it can also be used to shower off after a morning surf.

Beachwood’s garden consists of a large lawn (great for the games provided – croquet, boules and swingball), native plants, a woodburning BBQ and gazebo. Backing onto the Bouddi National Park provides direct access to bush walking tracks to Macmasters Beach, Little Beach (with rockpools for the kids), Maitland Bay and Killcare.

Beachwood has off street parking for 6 cars.

MacMasters has a surf club kiosk selling coffees, breakfast and lunches and evening meals and bar on Friday and Sunday nights. A walk along MacMasters beach will take you past beautiful Cockrone Lagoon and bring you to Copacabana with a choice of restaurants and cafes, a newsagents and shop. A short drive (or a long ocean side walk) will bring you to Killcare with a variety of eating options including fine dining at Bells.
Peak Summer $2,800 for 6 persons, extra persons $50pp. Linen Hire available cost on application.
Weekends $750 for 6 persons, extra persons $50pp. Available all year round for weekends, weekly or part weekly. Minimum 2 night stay.
