Description

Originally dominated by huge sand hills and long sandy beaches, the Brighton area was occupied in the summers by the indigenous Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains.
In 1838, Brighton district was surveyed by Colonel William Light. Wheat and vines became the main produce and the area developed a rural character. It also became a place of retreat – holiday houses were built by wealthy professionals and many prominent citizens of the day.

With the advent of the railway and the car, settlement grew quickly and Brighton became a popular day trip destination as people flocked to the beach. Brighton is a coastal suburb of Adelaide, South Australia between Seacliff and Glenelg and aside Holdfast Bay. Some notable features of the area are the Brighton-Seacliff Yacht Club, the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club and the Brighton Jetty and its excellent beach.

Brighton is a premium townhouse over 3 levels with private lift access offering luxury accommodation and spectacular sea views from all 3 levels. Brighton is fully furnished and self contained with 2 living areas with large flat screen TV’s, sleek ultra modern kitchen with huge gas oven and cook top and all modern European stainless steel appliances at your finger tips. Loads of cupboards filled with all the necessities of life, including everyday glasses, plates, platters, pots, pans and cooking utensils.

The main bedroom suite is on level 3 and has its own spectacular sea views and sunsets to enjoy from the balcony. The bedroom is huge with a king size bed, built in robes and an enormous bathroom with deep bath for relaxation.

On level 2 there are 2 other bedrooms all with built in robes, a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 singles in bedroom 3. . The main bathroom has a deep spa bath for serious relaxation. The living room has modern superior quality furniture and large screen TV with sound system and a further balcony. The ground level has more living areas with dining and kitchen and the laundry off the side with washing machine and dryer, along with an outdoor patio to enjoy BBQ’s, sunshine and sea air. A double lock up garage completes the picture.

The townhouse accommodates 8 people, suitable for 2 families for that beach holiday.

There is a double sofa bed in the second living area.

Location

Located on the Esplanade at Brighton Beach this luxurious townhouse has spectacular view of the ocean from 2 spacious balconies. The sandy beach across the road is patrolled by the Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club. Directly opposite is the Brighton Jetty just waiting to take a stroll or to do a spot of fishing.
Jetty Road Brighton is only minutes away, with many trendy restaurants, cafes and shops to browse in, plus the hotel ‘Espy’ right next door. The supermarket and Brighton shopping centre is just nearby and the railway station a short walk. With the Adelaide CBD only 15 minutes away, international golf courses, Adelaide airport, Glenelg Entertainment Precinct and SA wineries within an hour, this is the perfect base to explore and experience what South Australia has to offer whilst staying in the lap of luxury.

2nd February to 1st May 2009 - $550 per night - $3700per week
1st May 2009 to 26th September 2009 - $450 per night - $3000 per week.
26th September 2009 - 1st November 2009 - $550 per night - $3700 per week.

Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation fees will apply.

If you are able to inform us of your cancellation with more than thirty (30) days notice, your deposit will be refunded less a $50.00 accounting fee.

If notice is provided between thirty (30) days and not less than fifteen (15) days, 25% of the deposit* will be retained.

If less than fourteen (14) days and not less than seven (7)notice is given, 50% of the deposit* will be retained.

If cancellation notice is provided less than seven (7) days and up to one (1) day prior to the agreed check in date, 100% of the deposit* will be retained.

No cancellations are accepted on the day of arrival or after check in. You will be charged the total of the reserved stay under all circumstances.

Please note: * = The deposit is 50% of the agreed tariff on the full stay booked by the client.


Notification must be in writing either facsimilie or email and confirmed delivery is the responsibility of the Guest.
