Only 35 minute drive to Hobart, Salamanca Market, Battery Point, Mount Wellington and the Hobart Waterfront. Explore a little further to find the Cadbury's Chocolate Factory or MONA. A little closer to home means you are directly in the centre of the Huon Wine Region and Tourist route. Just 30 minutes south of the cottage is the famous Tahune Air walk, heritage museums, bush walks to the Hartz Mountains and surrounding adventures such as white water rafting, flying fox and other outdoor adventure sports are available.
Back at the cottage the Huon River Jet boat ventures past for a thrilling ride. Paddle boats can be hired from a venue just five minutes south of the cottage, for a leisurely way to experience the river.
