"Fairview Retreat had outstanding views and a wonderful vibe about the entire property. My wife and I were fortunate to have the upper loft and the balcony view from there was a perfect way to end the day with the complimentary bottle of red and cheese we purchased at the factory opposite the retreat. "Had a lovely couple of days in Mudgee staying at Fairview Retreat.It was clean and comfy, great for a family of 4 such as ours with 12-13 yr olds loads of space in surrounding yard area for some games BBQ etc.Generous Bfast provisions and nice bottle of wine.We had wonderful weather and that was good as the only thing we did miss was a reasonable sized television as the one in the accom is a little bit too small for the large loft area that is provided.Thanks & hope to visit again. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Fairview Retreat during Easter 2010. Initially there were confusion about the booking but upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to learn that all was in order and we were even given the owner's private accomodation to ensure the conflicting bookings all were taken care off. That made all the difference and we had a fantastic time which will not be forgotton soon. Thanks a million to Donna and Michael for making it happen."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Our first impressions were that it was very spacious and welcoming. There were so many extra and thoughtful touches - generous breakfast provisions, wine and chocolate, bathrobes, colouring books and pencils for the kids (who loved the hammock, by the way), candles and tea lights, plentiful candles for soft lighting, a well-equipped kitchen (including BBQ and picnic gear... even an esky!) meant that we didn't need for anything. My only 'complaint' is that the water can be tricky and the gas cyclinder ran out during our BBQ - but we could finish the cooking upstairs in the kitchen, so no big deal. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"Fairview Retreat is an excellent place to stay for any makeup of visitor to Mudgee. The loftstyle accommodation makes it a unique place to stay. The surrounding beautiful gardens,exquisite views and vineyards are breathtaking and it feels like you could only be dreaming you wanted to live on a vineyard estate. Close walk to town centre and beautiful Highvalley Cheese factory. This is a MUST place to stay."
