Two heritage homes built in 1915 for dockyard managers have been beautifully restored by the Harbour Trust. Tranquil rooms. Shaded wooden verandahs. Sublime water views. Heritage-planted gardens. And your own fascinating island to explore.

At Cockatoo Island, we have a number of properties including two four person heritage holiday houses, a one bedroom garden apartment and a four person studio. All of these properties are listed on Stayz - just search Cockatoo Island.

Facilities

Each home is fully furnished and sleeps up to 10 people. Facilities in each include four bedrooms plus sofa bed, two lounges, modern kitchen and bathroom, front and rear verandahs, laundry, outdoor setting and BBQ. A grass tennis court and audio tours of the island are available for hire. Boat berthing is available to those wishing to arrive by private vessel.
Getting to Cockatoo Island
Sydney Ferries operates a regular ferry service from Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and other harbour wharves to Cockatoo Island. Timetables are available on the Sydney Ferries website.

Following a spectacular 2010 New Year's Eve event at Cockatoo Island, we are pleased to announce the ticket release dates for New Year's Eve 2011.

The Cockatoo Island Holiday Houses, Apartments and Glamping tents are now open for ballot.
To enter the ballot, please send an enquiry detailing your name, phone number and the property you're interested in (see list below).
Please choose from the following properties:

2 x Building 24 Heritage Houses - each sleeps up to ten persons
Five night reservation $5830 - 24A
Five night reservation $5390 - 24B


2 x Building 23 Luxury Houses - each sleeps up to four persons
Three night reservation $3700 each

1 x Building 23 Luxury Apartment - sleeps two persons
Three night reservation $2290

6 x Glamping Tents - each sleeps two persons
One night reservation $600
Two night reservation $650

The ballot closes Friday 15 July and will be drawn on Monday 18 July 2011. Successful entrants will be notified by phone and email.
