  • "It was the perfect, restful holiday that we needed. My son instantly bonded with the two alpalcas as well as demanding scraps so he could feed the chooks. Our kelpie had a ball running around the fenced yard although she and the alpacas had staring competitions from each side of the fence! The veranda was the perfect place just to unwind, read a book or just take in the view. Very comfortable and the owner thought of everthing to make the stay easy. Can't wait to return. "

You have a lovely home & no one can not help but notice the time and effort as well as love you have put into making Brook Cottage feel like a real retreat and home. The mosaics everywhere are fantastic, really beautiful. The childrens playhouse is a dream! I have never seen a more beautiful or well built one anywhwere, a true work of art. "

  • "'THE PLACE' We have finally found 'The Place' where we can escape from the chaos and mayhem of everyday life. 'The Place' where we can let Jack run around outside and listen to him laugh and talk to the 'packas' (alpacas) 'The Place' where baby Erin can roll around the garden and explore 'The Place' where we can hear our necks and backs creak as we unwind Thank You for opening Brook Cottage for us we will be back. Malcolm, Michelle, Jack (2yrs) and Erin (8 months) "

  • "What a Fantastic weekend was had by the blundell family. Our much anticiapted long weekend was not dampened by the wet weather. My girls loved the cubby house it was a welcome retreat from the wet weather. Gum boots on they headed for the sandpit every morning. The Kitchen was great to cook in and there were supplies to cook a cake which was great in the wet weather. We are already planning our next trip in January. Thanks for a great weekend. "

  • "My and my sisters family stayed for 5 days and had a fantastic time. The house has all the basics & extras that most holiday homes just don't supply, so this was a big added bonus. The house is very clean and homely and my girls spent nearly all the time in the HUGE cubby house. They also had fun feeding the alpacas and chooks. Thanks for a great stay! I will be recommending this place to my friends. We did Bathurst, Mudgee and Jenolan caves from here, which was perfect location to all!"

  • "We stayed here as a half-way point on our way to Dubbo Zoo. We loved the feel of this house - it was peaceful and idyllic. The kids especially LOVED the amazing cubby house and alpacas and had lots of room to run. We adored the mosaic features scattered throughout the house and garden and also the little extras that are included when you stay. It was great just sitting around the cozy fireplace at night and relaxing. A great getaway from it all. Will be back soon - next time for longer!"
