Tassiriki Ranch is family-owned and operated and specialises in beachside horse riding and holiday accommodation for couples, families, and small groups of friends (up to 8). Nestled amongst the cane fields on the North Coast of New South Wales, Tassiriki Ranch occupies 40 acres of lush grasslands just 800 meters from secluded South Ballina Beach. Tassiriki Ranch offers relaxing rural accommodation with organised horseriding activities for both guests and visitors. Guests with their own horses are welcome to bring them on holiday and experience a beachside horseriding holiday together. Tassiriki Ranch also offers "quality care for your horse" with short-term and long-term agistment available in both shared paddocks and private stables.

At Tassiriki Ranch we offer a variety of horse riding activities suitable for nervous beginners through to intermediate riders. Our activities include relaxing beach trail rides for couples, families, and small groups of friends, as well as horse awareness and riding lessons for beginners and safe led pony rides for young children. You don't have to be staying at Tassiriki Ranch to participate in beach trail rides, however, advance bookings are essential.

Beach Trail Rides
Looking for a unique Aussie experience? Try a Beach Trail Ride on secluded South Ballina Beach. Couples and groups of up to 6 riders are escorted past the cane fields, through the bush, and onto the secluded beach. Experience the unique pleasure of horseback riding on deserted golden sand beaches where it's quite common to see dolphins playing in the waves and even humpback whales splashing and spouting just off-shore.

Prior to commencing the ride our experienced Trail Guides will match your riding ability with one of our quiet trail horses then brief you on horse control, steering, stopping, and safety aspects. Then it's off to the beach! After your ride you are invited to stay for a chat and enjoy a complimentary liquid refreshment and nibbles.

Beach Trail Rides for Couples
Bring your partner and experience the fun and romance of horse riding along the beach. With horses that suit everyone's ability, you and your partner can feel the wind in you hair as you ride along these pristine beaches.
