  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Warego cottage. It was very comfortable & cosy & the fire warmed the whole place. One of the nights we stayed the temperature got down to -2c but we were warm & cosy inside. Pennie & David were very friendly & helpful & suggested some nice places to visit during our stay. There were 4 of us in the cottage & there was plenty of space. We really recommend this place to anyone looking to escape to the country for a few days."

  • "Four of us stayed in Cottage during last weekend. It was relaxed and fun. We all had good sleeps in this cosy and beutifully decorated cottage. Many beautiful sceneries and fun stuffs were around like Mount Panorama and creeks for cold water plays was perfect at hot day time. We will go back! "

  • "We had a lovely time at the cottage, which we found to be very comfortable, with everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the linen crisp and fresh. There were books to read, even some DVD's to watch. Our girls enjoyed looking out for the horses each day and going for walks to see the sheep! For us it was so relaxing just sitting on the verandah and taking in the surroundings. "

  • "Our family of four had a wonderful time at Warego Cottage. The cottage was thoughtfully furnished and recently renovated. The small personal touches like an arrangement of Rhodendrums in the main bedroom and a beautiful arrangement of winter foliage in the lounge were really appreciated (along with the Pinot from a local vineyard). Pennies artwork adorn the walls of the comfortable (and warm) cottage. Pennie met us on our arrival and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed walks on the property (kept company with the friendly horses - sometimes too friendly) and a memorable picnic on the Fish River. Being winter swimming was not on the agenda however we plan to return in the warmer months to enjoy this idealic spot on the river. The surrounding area was great to explore - Rockley was lovely. The best find was the O'Connell pub which we frequented for memorable dinners and to enjoy the open fire. Looking forward to when we can return. Highly Recommended"
