"My friend and I stayed over the weekend at Akaroa and it was absolutely wonderful!! The unit was very big and tastefuly done...and eco-friendly, too. The unit has a spectacular view of the lush garden surrounding it. I had a very sound sleep as the bed was big and comfortable. We had a blast taking a stroll and pigging out in Byron Bay even though it was a rainy weekend. The owner (Kim) was very gracious and accomodating. I would definitey come back soon for a longer stay. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Akaroa mid-January and we had a ball! The apartment was stylish, well-equipped and private and the surrounding property was stunning- very tranquil! The location was perfect; close enough to Byron for convenience, but far enough out to enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday. The owners were lovely- very friendly and welcoming. In all, an amazing place, we recommend it to anyone looking to find a restful escape and to see the best that Byron has to offer. "

" 'My boyfriend and I stayed at Akaroa for 3 nights over NYE. The appartement was spacious, very clean and furnished with good taste. The location is amazing, away from Byron Bay, very quiet, looking at palm trees and a pool...more like a retreat than what we were expecting !The owners made the stay even more special.
