AAA-Tourism 4 star rating.
You will be assured of a warm friendly welcome at Gungahlin Homestay B&B, in the hills of Ngunnawal in Canberra's north. Our comfortable contemporary family home is eleven years old and has sweeping views to the Brindabella hills and surrounding countryside.
There are two excellent golf courses, Gungahlin Lakes and Gold Creek within a five minute drive.
Also nearby is the famous Cockington Green, miniature English village, and the National Reptile Centre. Great for all the family!
Our guest suite is now comfortably AIR-CONDITIONED and has a queen sized bed, private ensuite with fluffy bathrobes and a walk through wardrobe. TV and DVD player, FOXTEL and a good selection of DVD's, magazines and books.
Local tourist information and maps are also available. There are coffee and tea making facilities with complimentary shortbreads and chocolates.
There is a bar fridge for your exclusive use with fresh milk and complimentary cold drinks.
We also provide port for that relaxing night cap.
Our hearty breakfast is legendary and will guarantee a good start to your day in Canberra.
Our rate is $100 single or $120 a double including a full cooked breakfast.
Children are welcome in our home. Under 5 yrs are FREE. Children 5-12 yrs $10 each. 13 and older $20. Larger families welcome by arrangement. Ask about our Pet Friendly Policy. (Well behaved dogs $10 each per night)
Use the Vacansee calendar to book now for your preferred stay in Canberra. Unfortunately we do not take credit card payments so a $50 deposit by cheque/money order/direct deposit will secure your booking for a short stay,(up to five nights) or one night tarrif for a longer stay.
Unless 48 hours notice is given of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded.
