Let me guess what you're chasing in a beach house? You want cute, right? And, you want a ton of beds, queens for the couples, bunks for the kids, and you want a living space gilded by all-day sun. When the food comes out, you want a communal table for eight or more that you can fill with the noise of good conversation.
Most of all, the smell of the ocean must fill your nostrils. What's an agreeable distance from the sea? Two hundred metres, at the most? We think so.
This two-storey house was built behind the sand dunes at Surf Beach. Do you surf? You'll think you're in heaven if conditions light up Surfies Point, Crazybirds or Express.
Now, logistics. The main feature of the house is the upstairs living area. Here's where you'll find the main bedroom (with an ensuite and separate toilet) and the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen.
Downstairs are two more bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and a separate toilet. The laundry has a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and a device for airing your clothes.
Kids will be satisfied with a dedicated room featuring two sets of bunks, couches plus a TV and DVD.
All up, the house sleeps 11 people in two queens, a tri-bunk and another two sets of bunk beds.
You do have to be bring your own linen (doona covers, sheets, towels and pillow cases), which can be a bit of a hassle we know so, if you'd rather, we can arrange for it to be hired.
Other features include wall heaters in every room, air conditioning, a microwave, a dishwasher, 2 TV's and VCR/DVD combo and a gas barbecue. Wireless broadband internet is available and there's a hot outdoor shower to warm the bones after a surf on those crisp offshore winter mornings.
The property is fully fenced so you won't be struck with worry about any kids or pets (which you're welcome to bring) disappearing.
Our house at Phillip Island welcomes you.

We stayed for the weekend at the home 2 families with children. The house is great, in a terrific location close to the surf beach and the kids loved the xbox! Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend it.

This is a lovely house and perfect for families. Its not brand new, but everything is clean and neat. The configuration of the house is perfect for groups with children as there is enough open space for them to run about and parents can still watch over them easily. The beds were a great bonus as well. We highly recommend this propety for any groups or family gatherings. Thank you for a memoriable stay.

Spacious and cleanly presented, with lovely views to be enjoyed from every upstairs room as well as the two balconies. The downstairs views are nothing to sniff at either - a very nice view across a well-kept front yard to the dunes.
The bedrooms were clean, comfortable furniture, heaters (not that we needed them!) and fans (we certainly did need those), bedding in excellent condition.
The boy whooped with joy when he discovered the Xbox with lots of games available in very convenient rumpus room downstairs, which is replete with four bunk beds and comfy couches.
We brought two dogs, and it was lovely that they were welcomed - dog bowls available at the ready, and a securely fenced yard so they could go out without causing us worry.
Problems: well, minor in the scheme of things.
The kitchen was a little tired, but so what? it was clean.
It did bother me that we compulsorily paid $100 for cleaning for a two-night weekend, but were expected to sweep the floors before leaving, wash the bath mats and hand towels, and clean down the kitchen.
Seeing we had to bring our own linen, I'm not sure what was left for the cleaner to do, other than the bathrooms, but $100 for the bathrooms seems steep to me.

This property is the nicest pet friendly house we have stayed in! Great location with the beach just over the sand dunes & a short stroll to the local store. Thank you Kellie for a great weekend. The house was large enough to comfortably fit all four adults and four children (five months to five years). The children loved being just across the road from the beach. The toys, kids table and chairs and high chair were an amazingly handy inclusion, and of course our dog Bob loved being included in the family getaway. We'll definitely be back.

What a jewel this property is.
Location, location. A short walk to the beach, stunning views compliment a very comfortable holiday house.
This house has a bright and cheery feel to it from the moment you walk inside.
Thank you for allowing us to share your holiday home and Fozzy the dog was very comfortable too.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 4 day (3 night) stay at Seventh Wave. The house was ideal for 6 adults and our two grandchildren with 3 single bunks to spare. Plenty of games for them as well as CD's, and books.
Linen was provided (extra cost was worth it)
The two bathrooms meant there was "no waiting" in the mornings for a hot shower.
Kitchen facilities were more than adequate and the outdoor BBQ was a great alternative .
We did find a small problem with the large TV as it "jammed" on one station and frequently had to be reset when changing channels. Fortunately one of our party knew the problem (set top box ?)and was easily fixed.
We were pleased with the arrangements and communication provided by Kellie, and we found the house very clean and tidy on arrival.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Seventh Wave. Our two young children and dog loved it as it felt like a home away from home. We had everything we needed and it was so close to the beach. A well maintained, cosy and spacious home!! We have already recommended it to people and will definitely return. Thanks for a lovely Cup Day long weekend.

Hello,
We had a fabulous stay at the Seventh Wave. We took our goldie, Keisha, with us and really enjoyed the beach walks, afternoons in the sun on the balcony and visiting around the area.
The house is perfect for two or for more and we were really pleased with all the creature comforts and how welcome and at home we felt.
We're looking forward to more stays at the Seventh Wave & hopefully taking friends or family with us next time.
Thanks again.

A lovely property just a short stroll to the beach and shop, with great views of the sea on both sides. The owners have made every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We found it was a great way to unwind and did not want to leave.
Highly recommended.

Our second visit, this time with relatives. All you need is here and so close to all attractions; whether its visiting the penguins, wineries or just walking on the beach. Comfortable and immaculately kept. All had a great stay including the teenage kids and dog.

Our family loved this place! Our kids and dog made the most of the space and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like a toy basket and some glossy magazines. There were storms the weekend we stayed and the house was warm and cosy . . . we just lounged around, enjoyed the views and watched the grand final on the massive TV! The house has a great location - it's right across from the beach and the road is super quiet. We'll be back!
