"We cannot say enough good things about Sea Star Apartments, Airlie Beach. Everything from the booking to the welcome to the stay to the check-out was absolutely wonderful. Our reservation was made by telephoning the resort directly and we were given the lowest price advertised on several discount websites, which was $180/night for the 2-bedroom, 2nd floor apartment. We arrived a little early but our room was ready and we were directed to our lock-up garage personally by the friendly manager who proceeded to chat to us about the property and area, answering all of our questions without hesitation. We were pleasantly surprised to find our apartment was larger than expected and the view from almost every room was absolutely breathtaking. The lounge, kitchen, main bedroom and wrap-around balcony provided unobstructed beach and mountain views that were a delight to wake up to each day. During the 2 nights/3 days we stayed at Sea Star Apartments we spent quite a bit of time relaxing on the balcony, swimming in the infinity wet-edge pool and watching DVD's from our air-conditioned lounge room. I have posted quite a few photos that I took of the property and the amazing views that can be seen from almost every room. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning on visiting Airlie Beach as it provides value for money, absolute luxury, incredible views and a relaxing holiday that will guarantee you'll be back for more. We certainly will!"
