  • "We had a truly wonderful time at the house. Everything was there and it was lovely and clean. It was fabulous to have a home base and a hot shower to come back to everyday. Absolutely love Happy Valley. Best place to stay. My husband, myself and our 4 children had a fantastic time. It also was so easy to book with stayz and have contact with the owner who is a great bloke."

  • "With 10 people staying at this property, we were all very happy with it. Not only was it clean and comfortable, but each couple had their own room, which kept everyone happy. The house was great and the work being done to make it better (adding a new bathroom downstairs) will only add to the place. The owner John was also very helpful and responded quickly to all emails. We would all definitely come back to stay here. Thanks!"

  • "Our trip to Fraser was very eventful and full of surprises. One of the best surprise was the house. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The short walk onto the beach was a bonus and the views were breathtaking. Not only was the house wonderful, the owner John was also very kind and helpful. If we get the chance, we would definitely come back to stay. "

  • "We stayed at Fraser Island Holiday Home at Happy Valley recently. This may not be flashest place on Fraser Island, but it is certainly the best value for money. We paid just$85/night for a spotless fully self contained holiday three bedroom home nestled between a roaring wide surf beach and a pristine world heritage listed national park of rainforest, hugh dunes and freshwater lakes! It is convenient to just about anywhere on the island. Over the road there is a pub where you can get cheap meals also, so we didnt have to cook everynight. Where else could you get this? If there is a cheaper place on Fraser Island then we couldn't find it! "

  • "My husband and I and our four kids stayed at Fraser Island Holiday Home in October. For us the best thing about staying here for us is that its very convenient and central to everything; the beach, Eli Creek, the old Maheno wreck, the National Park, the coloured sands, the rainforest and the lakes were all just there . We even did the the first section of the Great Walk from Happy Valley through to Lake Garawongera. We just drove off the barge from Rainbow Beach and straight up the Eastern Beach from Rainbow Beach. We appreciated really appreciated the fact that this place is easy to get to, as we are not experienced four wheel drivers. There were no rocks or loose sand to navigate. The key was in the door waiting for us when we arrived, the house basic and immaculately clean and comfortable. The store and fuel were just across the road when we needed them. It was also nice to be able to walk to a bar and restaurant on those nights when I didn't feel like cooking. The pool table and internet also helped to keep the kids entertained at night. The 24 hour unrestricted power was also a Godsend. I've stayed in other places on Fraser Island where there was a generator and a problem everytime we tried to use an appliance!
