In town , yet 1000 miles from anywhere. From $40/pers/night(for 15 people low seas) to $84/pers/night( for 5 people mid seas) min 2 nights and 5 people, long w/ends min 3 night stay, Xmas hols min 6 people 7-10night stays .

Location

Imagine waking up to the mist rising off the water, the sounds of a flock of black cockatoos meandering their way around the river bend as you brew your first coffee for the day. Nestled on a superb one acre forested block its a nature lover\'s paradise with bushwalks, wildflowers in season, resident kookaburras & native birds, literally on the banks of your own private stretch of the Margaret River.

Try the Japanese style master bedroom, soak away in the Jarrah Spa room, entertain in the Santa Fe Living Area, chill out on the Greek Style day beds, take in the stunning sunset colours from the balcony, cook up the delicacies of the region in your modern kitchen, relax to a soothing massage or sample the regions internationally acclaimed wines over a lazy alfresco barbeque lunch. A mood for every occasion.

Hiromi and Richard purchased Riverzedge in 2002 and painstakingly renovated it with a stylish bold cosmopolitan design and a hint of Asia and Japan. Built in 1984, this home now contains all mod cons to assure a relaxing and unforgettable stay.

BEDDING: There are 8 separate beds in total. 1 king and 4 queens in 5 bedrooms, a queen size sofa bed in the massage room (that can double for a 6th bedroom) and 3 king single mattress daybeds in the entertainment rooms. Depending upon the number of couples and singles we can accommodate upto 15 people in total comfort. ie 6 couples and 3 singles.

A minimum charge of a 5 people and a two night stay tariff is required in low and mid seasons and a min of 6 people in peak season. Tariffs quoted below are for the whole house. Low season starts @ $400/night for 5 people and $20/night/extra/person. If you book for a week you only pay for 5 nights..that\'s a low season rate of $285/night for 5 people!! Mid season starts @ $420/night for 5 people and $25/night/extra/person. Peak season starts @ $460/night for 6 people and $25/night/extra/person. Children under 2 are free.

Its a clean, green house so no smoking indoors and shoes off please - bring your slippers or use our funky ones. For those that need to stay in touch, we have installed a broadband ethernet line so you can connect to the internet via your laptop in the Santa Fe living room. If at all possible do yourself a favour and LEAVE YOUR LAPTOP AT HOME. The Riverzedge is great for entertaining but it is a retreat , if you are after a wild party house this is probably not the house for you. Enjoy, relax...retreat.

Directions
Riverzedge Retreat is ideally located about 800 metres from town but you\'re completely surrounded by forest. It is the absolute best of both worlds. In Margaret River’s town centre turn into Willmott Ave (between the Westpac Challenge bank and the Margaret River Hotel). Stay on Willmott, proceed past the post office and down the hill to Arcadia Chalets on the left , before the Riverview Caravan Park. Turn left onto the bitumen track after the Arcadia Chalet/Riverzedge Retreat sign and drive thru the chalets 100 metres until you hit Lot 2, a three bay car port. Turn into the carpark on the right and park in front of the main entrance. Pick up your keys from the manager’s quarters located at the back of the property and kick back and relax. We are there if you need us but if not we donot exist. xx

It is centrally located to world class beaches, award winning wineries, spectacular caves and forrests and exquisite restaurants perfect for those famous Margaret River extended lunches. Bushwalks, cycle tracks and the Margaret River are at your front door...literally.
