The Riverzedge Retreat is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most unique and popular of all of the Margaret River Regions accommodation holiday houses . With superb river frontage, this five bedroom, three bathroom, architectually designed mansion can comfortably cater for between five to fifteen guests . It is perfectly located and a short distance to many of the margaret River Regions finest attractions.
This grand house affords unsurpassed million dollar views, built in the 80's it was tastefully renovated in 2002 by the owners, Hiromi and Richard, with a homely Asian and Japanese influence in mind. The location needs to be seen to be believed and the long and growing list of return clients is testament to the allure this property has on the guests that are fortunate enough to have stumbled upon one of Margaret Rivers best kept secrets.
NEW CHALET OPENING 2011
We have renovated the 1 bedroom chalet we lived in and will be able to accommodate upto four more people ( 2 upstairs in a King bed and 2 downstairs in a comfortable fold out good double size sofa). The chalet also has a corner spa bath, a modern kitchen with a TV and dining area. It has a balcony looking out to the forrest and a private courtyard yet it is 5 metres directly behind the Riverzedge Retreat, so we can now do larger groups of upto 20 people. Email us for rates.
Rates
The Riverzedge Retreats Rates are based on a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 15 with a minimum of 2 night stays and 6-15 people during peak periods. Children under two are free. Children over 2 are charged at the same rate as adults.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in is normally after 3 pm depending upon the cleaning schedule. Check-out is normally before 10 am. Late check-out can sometimes be arranged, especially on Sundays if we donot have people checking in on the same day and depending on our cleaners rosters. We can confirm the day before.
SPECIALS
Low season: Pay 5 nights get two free. Pay 3 nights get 1 night free (Sunday-Thursday) Excluding all holidays and special event weekends Mid season: Pay 6 nights get 1 night free. Excluding all holidays and special event weekends.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please make sure you are 100% happy for you and your group to go ahead with the booking as once we have received the deposit or your credit card details there is no refund unless we can refill the cancellation. CANCELLATIONS MADE 2 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE BOOKING WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE TARRIFF UNLESS WE CAN REFILL THE CANCELLATION

Hiromi and Richard purchased Riverzedge in 2002 and painstakingly renovated it with a stylish bold cosmopolitan design and a hint of Asia and Japan. Built in 1984, this home now contains all mod cons to assure a relaxing and unforgettable stay.
BEDDING: There are 8 separate beds in total. 1 king and 4 queens in 5 bedrooms, a queen size sofa bed in the massage room (that can double for a 6th bedroom) and 3 king single mattress daybeds in the entertainment rooms. Depending upon the number of couples and singles we can accommodate upto 15 people in total comfort. ie 6 couples and 3 singles.
NOTE... The price quoted on the STAYZ front page is taken from our low season weekly rate ($2100 divided by 7 nights = $299). This tariff is for 9 people . We regret that as owners we have no control over this tariff being displayed in this manner and it will not accurately reflect other booking enquiries.
A minimum charge of a 5 people and a two night stay tariff is required in low and mid seasons and a min of 6 people in peak season. Tariffs quoted below are for the whole house. Low season starts @ $500/night for upto 9 people and $20/night/extra/person. If you book for a week you pay for less than 5 nights..that's a low season rate of $299/night for upto 9 people!! Madness. We hate to see the place empty. Mid season starts @ $525/night for upto 9 people and $25/night/extra/person. Peak season starts @ $550/night for upto 9 people and $25/night/extra/person. Children under 2 are free.
Its a clean, green house so no smoking indoors and shoes off please - bring your slippers or use our funky ones. For those that need to stay in touch, we have installed a broadband ethernet line so you can connect to the internet via your laptop in the Santa Fe living room. If at all possible do yourself a favour and LEAVE YOUR LAPTOP AT HOME unless it is welded to your leg. The Riverzedge is great for entertaining but it is a retreat , if you are after a wild party house this is probably not the house for you....have a few drinks, enjoy, relax...retreat.

Directions
Riverzedge Retreat is ideally located about 800 metres from town but you're completely surrounded by forest. It is the absolute best of both worlds. In Margaret Rivers town centre turn into Willmott Ave (between the Westpac Challenge bank and the Margaret River Hotel). Stay on Willmott, proceed past the post office and down the hill to Arcadia Chalets on the left , before the Riverview Caravan Park. Turn left onto the bitumen track after the Arcadia Chalet/Riverzedge Retreat sign and drive thru the chalets 100 metres until you hit Lot 2, a grape coloured three bay car port. Turn into the carpark on the right and park in front of the main entrance. Pick up your keys from the managers quarters located at the back of the property and kick back and relax. We are there if you need us but if not enjoy yourselves, we are happy to stay invisible. xx
It is centrally located to world class beaches, award winning wineries, spectacular caves and forests and exquisite restaurants perfect for those famous Margaret River extended lunches. Bushwalks, cycle tracks and the Margaret River are at your front door...literally.

FROM PERTH INTERNATIONAL & DOMESTIC AIRPORTS. We recommend grabbing a GPS or a map before you head south. But the easiest and quickest way to get out of both airports is to head South on the Tonkin Hwy, take the Rowe Hwy exit and then turn right, then take the Kwinana Hwy South. Bypass the towns of Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton on route to Margaret River. It is about a 3 to 3.5 hr drive to Margaret River from Perth.Give us a bell if you get lost but better still email us before you arrive and we will email you a downloadable mudmap for you and your guests (highly recommended as we are a bit trickie to find once you are on Willmott Ave) .
