Must do/see:
Rosebud Cinema Film Festival
Rosebud Cinema's 9th Annual Film Festival is running from November 16th to 18th. The festival will once again screen films that are yet to be released ranging from both arthouse to mainstream and will include some foreign language films.
What to do:
Arthur's Seat Maze
Enliven the senses in a world of Enchanted Magical Mazes, Theme Gardens, Topiary & Sculptural Creations at The Enchanted Maze Garden. Come and experience The Amazing Lolly Shop with Giant Lolly Pops and every delicious fantasy you could think of.
Point Nepean National Park
Point Nepean is a popular tourist destination renowned for its historic features, outstanding coastal scenery and panoramic views of Bass Strait, the Rip and Port Phillip Bay. Point Nepean has a long history of use by indigenous people and contains a wide number of aboriginal archaeological sites. The density of sites is amongst the highest in Victoria. Historic Point Nepean has old fortifications interpreted by displays and soundscapes, and spectacular views of the Port Phillip Heads.
Peninsula Hot Springs
Real hot springs, real nature and relaxation!! Hot Mineral Springs have been found deep underground on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. The 50ºC waters rich in healing minerals are now flowing to the surface and into the thermal pools at the new Peninsula Hot Springs. For the first time in Victoria it is possible to bathe in the naturally healing waters of mineral rich thermal pools. Like the historic and famous spa centres of Europe, the Americas and New Zealand, the natural hot springs on the Mornington Peninsula bring the blissful and healthy pleasure of “taking the waters” to the people.
I do recommend the fishing charters around the Mornington Peninsula. The Jillian Fishing Charters are great, well priced too, just google "Jillina Fishing Charters" for details.
Once you get back fire up the barbie and get the flathead on the grill. With a bottle of cloudy bay you cant go wrong!
