Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most wonderful holiday we could ever imagine. What an amazing property!!! From the moment we drove down the driveway we were in love. It is so nice to find a property that is in a location like this one, what a hidden gem and all of us wanted to stay there forever, especially with the beautiful river gently bubbling away and awesome scenery no matter which way we looked!
We had 2 families stay there for the last week of the ski season, sunny blue skies on our 2 days on the snow at Mt Buller, followed by lovely cosy nights by the fire, beautiful meals with 8 of us around the dinner table. On other days we decided we just wanted to stay at the house rather than go sightseeing anywhere, there was so much to do just being at "home"...such as many hours fishing in the river right out the back door and for the less motivated of us...even curling up with a book, with so much privacy and space for everyone to have some ME time!! The kids made their own fun and loved the trampoline and collecting fire wood and holding a very slippery rainbow trout for the first time! Our boys are 10 and 8 and as we drove home they couldn't stop telling us that it was the best holiday they have ever had (and they have had lots of holidays!)... and only 2 hours from home in the suburbs! Can't wait to return again next year.

Absolutely perfect! The property and the surroundings were just magnificent. The perfect place to escape and recharge. The kids loved it and were delighted to have kangaroos visit. The peace and serenity amongst such a modern and stunning cabin really do leave you feeling completely relaxed. The pictures do not do the place justice. We would most definately return with or without the snow as we'd imagine this place to be fabulous in the summer as well. Thankyou Suzanne for your hospitality and maintaining such a beautiful house for all to enjoy.

FANTASTIC VIEWS, FANTASTIC ACCOMODATION.
Suzanne catered extremely well for all our needs.
The river was great, the weather was great & Play Shack 2 exceeded all our expectations.
The children loved the playground, river and accomodation which made for an even greater holiday as it was very child friendly.
Extremely comfortable and family friendly and we thank Suzanne for all her help and understanding and the extra toys & dvds & high chair etc for the kids.
Will certainly return without doubt.

Our stay at Play Shack 2 was great. The property is stunning and well maintained. The shack was so well set up, everything we needed was supplied. The facilities were new and with class, Suzanne and her husband certainly have a flair for decor.
I will be recommending Play Shack 2 to everyone I know, as will the 11 other women that were with me.
Looking forward to coming back for another relaxing and indulgent weekend.

We had a "Fantastic" time in this property and it is one of those places where the actual is better than the pictures (trust me).
This river front property had a soothing country style look but was well equipped with modern tools you need to make your stay comfortable.
I will rate this property 10/10

Loved the place. Was set amongst an amazing scenery. The river and furnishing were extremely relaxing. Suzanne (the owner) was very welcoming and always put our comfort as a first priority.

Very happy with the accommodation. We had a total of 10 adults stay and we were all very impressed with how beautiful the house was. Very modern, fully decked out kitchen and a large enough dining table for us to all sit down and enjoy dinner together. Could not be more happy to have chosen Play shack 2 and we would all love to spend some time again in summer.

The house was set in a beautiful location with the garden in full view from the main lounge room, and the river situated just beyond the garden edge.
The house was well equipped with most of the essentials such as dishwashing powder, toilet paper, hand towels and all of those other little things which when added together become quite annoying to take away.
The two main bedrooms looked amazing (and although I didn't get to stay in either of them, I was told the beds were extremely comfortable).
The location was a perfect half way point to meet up with friends from Melbourne.
I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking to stay in the area.

Simply 5 STAR accomondation in the most amazing setting by the river. There was nothing to complain about except we did not stay long enough. The house is totally renovated with designer EVERYTHING. No second hand furniture or accessories, just luxury all round. Very child friendly with swings and toys. View and setting to die for. Massive established gardens lit up at night. Had dinner by the river dining table and watched the trout jump out of the water & had kangaroos visit the backyard.
