Play Shack 2




Play Shack 2 is a newly renovated modern home in a dream location with Delatite River Frontage and close to everything the High Country has to offer. The home and gardens have magnificent river views and is located in the heart of the High Country, just two and a half hours away from Melbourne. 5 minutes from the Mount Buller toll gates and 20 mins to the ski runs, it is ideal off mountain accomodation sleeping 13 - 17 people.


Play Shack 2 consists of 3 or 4 bedrooms.

Our 4th Bedroom is in a separate but attached wing of the house with ensuite and Rumpus room with amazing views of the river. This wing can be rented separately to the main house.

Play Shack 2 is Smoke Free and Pet Free for your maximum comfort.

Activities

During winter Mount Buller and Mount Stirling are only 25 mins away, where there are magnificent ski runs and cross country trails for all levels.

Summer is the hidden treasure, with fishing , hiking, wineries, pubs, 4WDing, Mountain Biking/Road cycling and trail bike riding at your door step followed by refreshing dips in the Delatite river.

Play Shack Studio is an additional $300 if required & can accomodate an extra 4 guests, capped for a maximum of 17 guests at $1900 for a weekend or $500 per night midweek.

  • "Absolutely perfect! The property and the surroundings were just magnificent. The perfect place to escape and recharge. The kids loved it and were delighted to have kangaroos visit. The peace and serenity amongst such a modern and stunning cabin really do leave you feeling completely relaxed. The pictures do not do the place justice.   • "The house was set in a beautiful location with the garden in full view from the main lounge room, and the river situated just beyond the garden edge. The house was well equipped with most of the essentials such as dishwashing powder, toilet paper, hand towels and all of those other little things which when added together become quite annoying to take away. The two main bedrooms looked amazing (and although I didn't get to stay in either of them, I was told the beds were extremely comfortable). The location was a perfect half way point to meet up with friends from Melbourne. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking to stay in the area."

  • "Simply 5 STAR accomondation in the most amazing setting by the river. There was nothing to complain about except we did not stay long enough. The house is totally renovated with designer EVERYTHING. No second hand furniture or accessories, just luxury all round. Very child friendly with swings and toys. View and setting to die for. Massive established gardens lit up at night. Had dinner by the river dining table and watched the trout jump out of the water & had kangaroos visit the backyard. Thanks so much to management who could not have been more helpful with all our needs. We will be back soon. Thanks Suzanne sincerely Lisa."
