Stay put and check out the property or relax around our magnificent pool - the property is an attractive destination in its own right. Walk into 'Yack' down a scenic walking track and check out the historic mining gorge on the way. Maybe you can add to the list of birds that our guests have seen or catch a trout in the creek.

The 30 acre property is possibly the most beautiful spot in the area. It enjoys a commanding view of adjacent state forest. It has a fascinating blend of pastures and rugged 1850s sluice-mining gullies falling away to a meandering stretch of peaceful and shady frontage along the Yackandandah Creek. On a clear night the stars are breathtaking.

We have defined a fascinating Nature Walk within the property where you can discover old mining gullies, beautiful rocky outcrops, the meandering creek with swimming and fishing spots, forested areas and open flats, beautiful trees and a huge variety of birds.

The Cottage

Crystal Creek Cottage sits approximately 200m away from the main homestead. It is a truly unique and charming three-bedroom cedar cottage situated in a relaxing and secluded setting with magnificent uninterrupted views. Self-rated at 4.5 stars.

The property itself is at the end of a country lane with absolutely no passing traffic.

The cottage features shady verandas front and rear and a beautiful traditional country garden with established trees to enjoy.

Fully equipped for country lifestyle with kitchen, laundry, BBQ, wood fire, electric blankets and reverse-cycle air conditioning, the cottage is ideal for both short and long stays for single couples, friends or families. Dogs are welcome and we have a dog-proof fence that keeps in all but the most determined canine escape artists.

The cottage has three bedrooms, two with top quality queen-size beds and one with a solid bunk bed and trundle. Generous supplies are provided for a delicious self-cooked breakfast for the first two nights at no extra cost. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the other basic needs.

Modern conveniences include flat screen HDTV, DVD and quality stereo system.
