Lavendale Farm

Description

Our farmstay is family friently and pet friendly. We have 4 self contained cottages. 3 cottage are two bedroom with sleeping for 5 people. Our largest unit "The Lodge" has 3 bedrooms and sleeping for 8 people. It is completely wheelchair accessable. We also have an elegant Bed & Breakfast room in our Farmhouse with a huge ensuite and private access through romantic french doors. We have an activity room with table tennis, Foosball and a drawing board. A playground has been established near the three smaller cottages. Relax in your private outdoor area with BBQ. Long walks along the river or pat the animals. We have horses, ponies, donkeys, alpacas, cows, a couple of pet sheep and pigs and even an ostrich. Please help us at feed time, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful country.

The cottages

"Aussie Bush" cottage is country living style with pot belly stove and clawfoot bath. Relax on the wide verandah and enjoy the views of the bush. BBQ provided. Queen size bed in one room, double and single in the other. Lots of pots and pans. The cottage is solar powered and have evap air-conditioning in summer.
"Valencia" cottage has a mediterranian them. Elegant bathroom and clean white tiles. Queen bed in one room with two singles in the other. Folding bed available to make sleeping for 5. Cots and high chairs available. Relax on the patio and enjoy a BBQ. The activity room is near by. In winter we have camp fires if the weather permits. The cottage is solar powered. Wood heater in winter, air-con in summer if you need it.
"Bali Hai" has a tropical island theme. There is a 4 poster bed, a double and a single. The bathroom is huge with corner bath and separate shower. Lots of indoor and outdoor living space with BBQ and a water feature.

The Lodge

This is our largest unit. It has 3 very large bedrooms and sleeping for 8 people. There is a King, Queen and 4 single beds. As with all our cotttages, cots and high chair available. This unit is fully wheelchair accessable. There is a huge patio with a couple of hammocks and bush garden. Drive right up to the front door. A laundry and rompus room are attached with an additional toilet.
Plenty of room for two families.

Rates shown are for 2 bedroom self contained cottages. Enquire for Red Room pricing and The Lodge. 2 night minimum stay in The Lodge. 2 night minimum for long weekends and school holidays. 2 night minimum now applies to the 2 bedroom cottages on Friday and Saturday.
