Situated on an elevated ridge in one of the Hunter's most coveted locations, you can look around and imagine you are on the hills of Provence amidst an Olive Grove and Lavender. Designed by french architects constructed by craftsmen, utilising the finest materials and fittings imported from France. This authentic french provincial farmhouse is a true masterpiece.

This prestigious retreat is furnished to very high standards with traditional french furniture. It features elegant casual and formal living areas. Talits is structured in a way that it is intimate enough for honeymoon couples or a luxury romantic stay for 2, even though it can easily accommodate up to 8-12 guests in complete comfort.

Have your coffee in the morning room or the alfresco vine covered pergola looking over the beautiful formal gardens. Relax on one of the private balconies and drink in the most spectacular view in the Hunter Valley. Watch the sun go down behind the vineyards and orchards and breathe the delicate aroma of lavender and rosemary.

Talits has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area which offer spacious facilities where you can prepare and enjoy the bounty of the Hunter's gastronomic produce. Natural wood and stone features are combined with modern appliances, creating an old farmhouse feel with all mod cons. This area spills over to a lovely lounge area with a huge open fire. Both these areas have private balconies.

Set on three floors, the house blends traditional features with cutting-edge design. On the ground floor you have the magnificent master king bedroom and ensuite with terracotta flooring, a traditional copper bath and additional shower en suite. This wonderful bedroom has French doors leading out to a sitting area on the edge of the grounds that overlook the impressive vineyard. The ground floor has two further queen bedrooms which share a large bathroom. You then sweep up the wooden staircase to the second level where you find another beautiful reception room which leads on to the kitchen, living and dining areas. Up a further staircase you find a mezzanine landing with a further queen bedroom and large bathroom tucked into the area with large wooden beams and a window overlooking the gardens. For larger groups we have 2 queen size sofabeds with full 8" sprung mattresses. The sofabeds are located in the morning room on the ground level and in the first floor second sitting room. Both these areas have seperate toilets available so that everyone has their own space and privacy.

Talits is minutes away from some fabulous restaurants or alternatively home-cooked meals are available, with a local chef preparing food at the house or off-site, according to needs and wishes of the guests.

Talits Estate is located in the tranquil setting of Broke and only 15 minutes to the commercial hub of the Hunter. Talits sits upon 42 acres with 15 acres of vines and stunning mountain views combine to make this place something very special with the magnificent gardens all surrounded by stone walls.

TARIFF

WEEKEND RATES (2 nights) (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun)
* The nightly weekend rate for up to 6 guests is $750 per night (2 night minimum - see 1 night rates below).
* Extra adult guests are charged at $125 per person per night.
* Children are charge $60 per child (2 years to 13 years).
* Infants under 2 are free.
* A Lazy afternoon checkout may be available at $120 per stay, allowing you to use the property on the day of departure until 5pm. (subject to availability)
* An early check in of 12pm may be available for $50 per stay (subject to availability)

MID WEEK RATES (2 nights)
*Midweek rates are charged at 28% discount off the weekend tariff.

ONE NIGHT WEEKEND or MIDWEEK BOOKINGS
*One night bookings are available. Please contact us for a quote.

WEEKLY RATES AND LONGER STAYS
* Discounts are available on stays of 5 nights and over, please contact us for a quote.

OTHER CHARGES
* A deposit of 50% of the total rate is required by credit card to secure the booking. A $300 holding deposit can hold the property for 14 days if you need to collect payment from other guests.
* The outstanding balance is due 14 days before your arrival date.
* The guest responsible for the booking must register with Events in the Vines, by phoning the office, at least 24hrs before check in, to provide their credit card details, which may be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to): telephone charges on the house landline, any breakages or damage incurred during your stay, or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning.
* Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas and New Year bookings must be for a minimum of 8 or more guests and are a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate.
* Concert weekends must be a minimum of 8 or more guest.
