Description

The Studio Evolving cottage is distinctively renovated internally with traditional Australian materials featuring natural timber floors and traditional metal linings to create a striking break from the image of city living. The original character is retained but refreshingly enhanced with a contemporary feel. Externally the cottage retains its rustic untouched charm embraced by a lush established garden creating a sense of intimacy and seclusion. Studio Evolving is located on the eastern perimeter of Healesville at the foot of Mt Juliet with easy access to major attractions of the area - the Maroondah Reservoir Park, Healesville Sanctuary, wineries, relaxed shopping, state forest walks and many other places of interest.

COTTAGE ACCOMMODATION

The cottage has two double bedrooms, each with an ensuite. a third bedroom with a fourth bedroom which can be divided off (with folding doors) from the larger living room. Ideal for a single couple, or a family or a group of friends.
The accommodation is completely independant and self contained with an equipped laundry and kitchen. All linen and breakfast provisions are provided. (Biodynamic, organic and local produce used wherever possible. Eggs from our own hens.) There is a small TV Sitting Room separated from the larger Living space which has a wood combustion stove and CD player with a bay window overlooking the enveloping garden.
Studio Evolving is also ideal for small workshop activities or special celebrations. We have accommodated groups of up to 9 people in a relaxed group environment.

SPECIAL THINGS TO DO

If you are more adventureous or looking for personal rejuvination, upon request we also conduct personal yoga lessons and Alexander lessons that will help you relax and bring your attention back to yourself.
Our special friendly horses add a wonderful healing quality to create a different sense of place. You can enjoy an introduction to horse riding and horse handling in a safe and secure enclosure.
