The Cottage

A charming 4 star B&B Cottage, in the gardens of “Goodwood” (circa 1894). Comfortable & private, the one-bedroom cottage sleeps 3 in a queen-size bed & a single bed – an extra cot or fold-away bed is available by prior arrangement.

In the separate sitting room, relax & unwind by the cosy wood fire (air-conditioning & fan for warmer weather) and enjoy the flat screen TV, DVD & CD players, I-Pod Docking Station plus a selection of movies. WiFi is available also.

Dim the lights and soak in the two-person spa – ‘bubbles’ provided!

Enjoy generous provisions for cooked breakfasts - you can sleep in! The cottage is fully self-contained with simple cooking facilities (microwave, hot-plate, electric skillet & frypan, kettle, toaster & fridge).

Your own veranda, laundry facilities, iron & ironing board, BBQ & under-cover parking ensures a comfortable and convenient stay. And in summer, access to a solar-heated pool.

The Wing

Another charming place to stay! The Wing is a separate and private suite of rooms in “Goodwood” circa 1894 with its own entrance and veranda. It sleeps two in the queen-size bedroom plus an extra one or two on a sofa-bed in the sitting room.

As with the Cottage, guests can enjoy a 2-person spa with ‘bubbles’ plus a separate shower in the ensuite bathroom.

Included in the tariff are provisions for continental-style breakfasts – the Wing is equipped with a microwave, kettle, toaster & fridge for simple meal preparation.

TV, DVD & CD players, WiFi, plus a selection of movies and magazines, are provided to entertain you.

There is an iron & ironing board in the Wing and laundry facilities are available on request. Your own veranda, garden & off-street parking complete the picture.

Things to do; places to see!

"Goodwood" is only a hop, skip and a jump from all the attractions and activities in the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley, and only 50 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Dine out at one of the great restaurants nearby, or visit some world famous Yarra Valley wineries.

Take a trip on Puffing Billy, visit the Healesville Sanctuary or indulge in a Hot Air Balloon trip at sunrise. Visit some of the galleries and antique shops.

Enjoy a bush walk in one of our National Parks or go bike riding. See the view from Mt Dandenong Observatory - beautiful sunsets! For the less energetic, take a stroll in one of several beautiful gardens that are open all year - National Rhododendron Gardens (free entry), Cloudehill, Alfred Nicholas, George Tindale, Karwarra Australian Native Garden, to name a few. William Ricketts Sanctuary (free entry) is nearby too. There is something for everyone!
