Things to do and see
The Gatehouse is located in the heart of the Yarra Valley with over 60 wineries within a 12 kilometre radius offering fine wines, wonderful food and friendly assistance. The Valley's top restaurants including Eleonore's at Chateau Yering, Bella Vedere, Healesville Hotel, and The Vines at Helens Hill are all just a short ride away. If you're into excitement and adventure then there's hot air ballooning, helicopter and plane rides, sky-diving, gliding, trail walking, golf or horse riding to choose from. For a more relaxing time there are winery tours, concerts, art galleries and museums, charming villages, the native animals at Healesville Sanctuary, Hedgend Maze or just enjoy the wonderful scenery.
