Description

This three bedroom cottage is an ideal setting for a secluded weekend escape, but it is only 8km from civilisation - Canowindra. Each bedroom can have two adults - a twin room, a double and a queen room are available. A seventh person can be accommodated using a trundle bed in the lounge room. The bathroom is shared and has a separate WC. The kitchen - living dining rooms are open plan, enjoying an expansive view over the vineyards and Belubula Valley through the north facing window and new sun-deck covered in grapevine.

Feel free to explore the vineyards, olives and figs, picking your own seasonal fruit. Or, book a "Taste and Tour", guided through the basics of organic farming, and tasting the produce grown by the Statham family, who created Rosnay in 1996.

If you want to escape the rat race and watch the world go by from this large balcony with beautiful rural views all around this could be for you. We did and enjoyed ourselves immensely.   • "Rosnay is a charming, 3 bedroom cottage nestled in the middle of an organic vineyard, an olive grove and a fig orchard. The views across the vineyard to the golden canola fields and the distant hills during our Spring 2010 vacation were spectacular. We sat out on the balcony at sunset enjoying our complimentary bottle of delicious Rosnay wine. We loved the fact that there was no TV or phone (phone and internet available at the farmhouse if necessary). We were treated to a well-appointed, modern kitchen, lovely crisp, new linen and even fresh flowers in the vases throughout the house. A walk through the vineyards at dawn is highly recommended and don't forget to take home some organic goodies for your friends and family. The olives in particular are the best we've ever tasted! Thank you Sam, Richard, Florence (and Dolly) for making your delightfully homey and peaceful cottage available."
