South West Rocks is a small coastal town on the mid north coast situated near the mouth of the Macleay River. By car approximately 5 hours from Sydney or Brisbane. South West Rocks offers 8 beautiful beaches, a modern Country Club with bowling greens, 18 hole golf course and tennis courts. The Seabreeze Hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and the Riverside Tavern on the bank of the Macleay River. Within the Arakoon State Recreation Area is the historical Trial Bay Gaol and the popular Trial Bay Kiosk - a great place for breakfast, lunch or tea. There are many small shops including great cafes and restaurants in the centre of town as well as a new shopping centre on the edge of town.
Other tourist attractions include scuba diving at the world famous Fish Rock Cave, snorkeling at high tide in Back Creek or around the rocks in the bay or wandering through the historic Trial Bay Gaol at Arakoon.
The apartment is a spacious, neat and tidy 1 bedroom apartment consisting of a Queen Bed in the bedroom with a fold out double sofa bed in the Lounge. Fully self contained facilities including new fridge, microwave, washing machine and dryer. 32 inch LCD television and DVD player in the Lounge with separate radio and IPOD docking station.
Electric BBQ for preparing meals on the balcony whilst looking down Memorial Avenue to the beach.
We also have a high chair and plastic plates/ cups etc for the children.
Doona's, pillows and blanket included. Remaining linen not provided (eg sheets and towels). Linen packs can be hired.
Park the car in the secure car park and leave it there for the duration of your stay if you wish. Local shops, restaurants, famous Seabreeze Hotel and beautiful beaches are all within very short strolling distance. Or why not call up the courtesy bus from the South West Rocks Country Club (golf course, lawn bowls and tennis courts). Chinese restaurant, bakery and pizza shop are within the apartment complex.
