The Outlook

The Outlook is a modern, well appointed holiday home overlooking the magnificent Hawkesbury River at Bar Point. It offers an exclusive holiday experience, with quality accommodation, beautiful bush surrounds and secure jetty facilities. Bring your boat or we can arrange 'tinny' hire for you.

The Outlook has two fabulous entertaining decks at both the front and rear. The front deck and most rooms have panoramic views of the Hawkesbury River and surrounding National Park.

The house comfortably accommodates six in three bedrooms(2QS and 2SB). All the comforts of home are provided, all you need to bring are clothes, food, and your favourite CDs.

RIVER LIFE

Experience riverfront lifestyle, where you can choose activites that include fishing from your own jetty, enjoying sunset BBQ's on the deck, meandering through the native bushland, boating or simply relax and watch the kids play on the grassy lawns.

Bar Point is surrounded by thousands of acres of mountain National Park where you can fish, swim, wander along one of the walking trails or just relax with a book and enjoy the view. The brilliant sunsets are best viewed while dining on the front deck, or perhaps fishing at one of the areas best spots, right in front of the house.

There are many local restaurants within an easy boat trip. The well known waterfront restaurant "Peats Bite" can be seen from the front deck and is only minutes across the river, providing a fabulous local venue for that special lunch, wedding or other celebration.

HOW TO GET THERE

Kangaroo Point is a very popular stepping off point to the Hawkesbury River and accessed by the Pacific Highway & F3 (approximately 1 hour 15 mins from Sydney). There is a boatramp with parking for both your car and boat trailer.

Using either water taxi or your own boat, the Outlook is just 12 minutes from Kangaroo Point (we are more than happy to arrange your own private water taxi for pickup and return).

Alternately there is a public ferry (The Riverboat Postman) departing Brooklyn Mon - Fri at 9.30am or you could arrive in style using the seaplane service from Rose Bay or Palm Beach.
