The wide beachfront boulevard of Mountjoy Parade has a distinctly Mediterranean feel with its many eating houses and cafe's. The Lorne Golf Course is just a short stroll away with it's wonderful sloping fairways and excellent dinning facilities.
ATTRACTIONS
You can enjoy the walks to Erskine Falls or along the St.George River to Phantom Falls in the Angahook-Lorne State Park. Cinema Point, 10kms north-east of the township, is the highest point on the Great Ocean Road, providing what is arguably the most stunning views along its length. Maybe a day trip along this world famous road with its spectacular scenery to Wye River, Apollo Bay or you might like to travel inland through National Park to Lake Elizabeth or the Otway Fly (a treetop walk).
